Love this spot. Great coffee and the vibe can’t be beat.
Walked in (dressed well, prior to a funeral), just wanting a coffee and a place to sit. 10 minutes no one could say hello, take my order, or even make eye contact. Terrible.....

i work right by this cafe. normally when i come, im pressed for time since i only get so much time during my breaks. one particular employee has disregarded me and my coworkers on many occasions. she will be talking on the phone or having casual conversation with other people in the establishment. no greeting, and an unnecessary wait time for service. it is a lovely place and black owned, but i do now recommend if you need fast service.

Absolutely love this place it’s very homey & cozy, the young lady who was the barista was very sweet and accommodating, they did Gospel karaoke which I enjoyed and reminded me of a family get together. I will be coming here regularly, I loved it🩷🩷

Stopped by in the morning to grab a matcha latte. The atmosphere was great, very cozy with some people chatting and others working from home. There are also some interesting books lying around to peruse while you wait for your order. The barista was very kind and worked quickly considering she was the only person working. The iced matcha latte with vanilla was refreshing and not-too-sweet. I think it was made with almond milk, which I don’t mind, but if you have a preference I would make sure to ask. Overall, great experience and beautiful environment.

Their dark roast coffee actually tastes like a dark roast which is a rare fine in a coffee shop.
I just went with my daughter to visit because she recommended and I loved it! The ambiance is so cozy, coffee is delicious, their music is so chill and the service was beyond beautiful. We ordered the turkey sandwich and it was very yummy. I totally recommend this place. ♥️

First timer. The barista, Peter, welcomed me as soon as I walked through the door. Peter verified that he had my order correct. Great service to compliment the great tasting ☕!
Customers were working, talking, and enjoying themselves. Fantastic atmosphere!
When I return I will ask the barista to fill up my Rosa (Detroit) tumbler, with spill proof lid, that I purchased!
Parking: Parking available in front of on the side. Just a few steps away from the entrance.

This place is just awesome. As a local that lives in the neighborhood, I really appreciate having a business that is community focused and provides quality coffee. Pastries are delicious. The history behind the place is awesome, too. Give it a try!

This is my favorite coffee shop in the Grandmont Rosedale area in Detroit. The vibe is designed to be like your grandma's home. In addition to strong coffee, a lot of Detroit entrepreneurs work out of this shop. You can always meet new people sitting right next to you.
