We came here to experience a new place, it is Saturday night and the Blues Concert was tonight. The service was HORRIBLE! They were so focused collecting money to come in we sat for almost 45 minutes before we got water. We end up writing the order and giving it to the waitress and it sat for another 30 minutes before they came and acknowledged they even got the order. The band was amazing!!!Can't say if we coming back or not after this ....

And the owner, Tommy, personally welcomed us in and even walked us out when we left—where else does that happen these days?I ordered an amazing Long Island Iced Tea, which perfectly complemented the lively tunes and friendly chatter. MY FIRST TIME THERE IT WAS WONDERFUL IT WAS MY SISTER 54TH BIRTHDAY THE LOUNGE WAS WONDERFUL THEY HAD A LIVE BLUES BAND GREAT PLAYERS AN SINGERS DANCING ON THE DANCING ON THE DANCE STAFF AN COOK WAS GREAT SERVERS THE OTHER PEOPLE WAS HERE WAS VERY POLITE AN IT IS A PLACE TO BE MAY GOD BLESS THEM AN KEEP THE WHOLE RAVEN STAFF IN HIS ARMS
My last and I went last night and had a great time. The people there were simply amazing people and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place. People were so friendly!

my family and i have been going here for years, used to love it. over the last year or two it’s gone downhill. this most recent time was the worst. we didn’t get our appetizer first, it came with the entrees, and was soggy, probably because it sat in the window waiting. our drinks didn’t arrive until after the food came. my drink wasn’t even what i ordered and when i complained they said yes it is. they charged $3 for added bacon to sandwiches and it looked like three little sprinkles of bacon bits. every time we go lately it’s not good service.

What a treat! A wonderful authentic Blues lounge with a laidback friendly atmosphere, charming host, delicious homemade food and terrific music! Coming from CT it was a great taste of the vibrant city that is Detroit! If we are back this way we'll be SURE to revisit the Raven Lounge!!
