The good: ambience was nice, food was good.
Bartender was VERY aggressive, threatening to kick us out as we were sitting down. The reason was somebody accused my wife of shoving her, my wife told her no one pushed her (which is true, I saw the whole thing) and the woman said nothing. It was a 5 second interaction and it was over - my wife sat down and the other lady got her drinks and left. The bartender decides to insert himself into a situation that did not involve him and play judge, jury, and executioner and decide who was right (even though both parties had moved on) and then pronounce sentence. It was bizarre - he cared more than either of the persons involved.
We stayed and ate but it left a bad taste in our mouths because he was so aggressive and then unkind the rest of our meal. We talked to the manager afterward - who was very nice - and she said he was trying to get us kicked out but she told him to try to deescalate. Ironically, the only one who had to deescalate was him!

I don't know how I could have enjoyed my dinner at Revel any more than I did. I was hesitant to order steak, as I'm snobby about that kind of thing, and I figure I can make a steak that's every bit as good at home. I was really impressed with the ribeye that I ordered. It was absolutely perfect; cooked and seasoned exactly the way it should be. I also had the scalloped potatoes, and they were, without a doubt, the best taters I've ever had in a restaurant. Our waiter, Helios, was attentive and efficient; the other service staff were right on the ball removing plates and whatnot. I think Revel was a little pricey, but it was well worth it, and I'm anxious to return.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had when dining out. Very cozy atmosphere. Everyone including the manager was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Food was very good and desert too. I had the lamb chops and my date had the cowboy ribeye. We will definitely return.

My husband and if went to Revel Steak for our 21st wedding. And we got the crab cakes (they beat i ever tasted) the cowboy ribeye (baby Tommy hawks lol they were huge) scallop potatoes, loaded baked potato, apargus and the broccoli. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! There was nothing we hot that was bad. Everything was amazing.We have enough food force or 3 more dinners. Our servers (sorry I forgot her name but she was and older woman with grayish hair and glasses) was truely amazing. We will definitely going back. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!!!
This dinner was everything I expected from a fine steakhouse in a casino. The pork belly appetizer was to-die-for, it just melted in my mouth and the sauce was delicious. My NY strip steak was a quality cut of beef and cooked perfectly. Asparagus was nicely charred eith just the right crunchy consistency. Of course, our server was top notch and took care of everything we could have wanted to enjoy a nice evening meal. Bravo!

The food was EXCELLENT, however, the service was far below expectations. Our waiter seemed extremely uninterested and didn't communicate well at all. We had a reservation for 6 people so we ordered a lot and spent quite a lot on the food. Our waiter kept walking away from the table to punch food in after only asking 1 or 2 of the people at the table what they wanted. We literally had to ask him to come back because we weren't done yet multiple times. In addition to the waiter not fitting expectations, we had a busser come clean the table and box food while we were still sitting there (which is totally fine), but again, poor communication skills. I'm missing some of the items I asked to be boxed up which is EXTREMELY disappointing considering how expensive the food is here and I barely touched the items. The service ruined the experience, but hats off to the kitchen staff and the management seemed very kind too! I won't be back and it's hard to recommend it when there are so many other phenomenal restaurants in Detroit now.

Came here this past Saturday at 5:30pm with reservations for a friends birthday! Had a wonderful meal with excellent service, Dwayne (sorry if I spelled wrong) was fantastic, very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable! I was craving a burger and this one did not disappoint. Large and juicy and very flavorful & cooked great! Also, the fries that come with it very plentiful and tasty! Oh and the French onion soup was probably the best I’ve had no joke! I tried the espresso martini and boy did I enjoy that too! Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at revel ! The staff was the most accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. We told them one us had allergies and they made sure to be careful. Our server Dee was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. Thank u !
