I’m in love with this beautiful restaurant! Rincon Tropical: Home Away From Home! Fine Puerto Rican cuisine less than a couple miles away from where I live is amazing. I’m so happy I stopped by here today, This lovely little restaurant takes me to the Caribbean in mind, body, and spirit. The Butterfly Shrimp with Garlic Sauce was scrumptious, full of flavor, crunchy, and I can’t wait to try more delicacies whenever I come back.

I must say I was totally skeptical about this place. At first, it didn't give me the good restaurant vibe. The business sign was on the sidewalk, and the entrance was confusing. The place does not feels like a restaurant at all. It's actually a bar with a few tables for people to eat. The atmosphere is very dark with pool table and a huge bar. Not an ideal place to seat and have a meal. However, I must say I ordered the Pernil plate and Mofongo Balls and I was totally surprised on how good the food was. Great flavor, great seasoning, the Pernil was very soft and delicious, Arroz con Gandules was on point, the Mofongo balls were slightly fried but good, and they give you a nice portion of food with salad. The Parcha juice was a bit too sweet for me, but it was still good. Overall, the food was great, totally worth it. The atmosphere not so much. I think the owners should decide whether they want a bar or a restaurant. I think next time I will order the food to go.
The food was absolutely amazing. Super flavorful, I ate everything on my plate which is not something I do. My family also enjoyed their food very much. 30/10. I highly recommend the bistec encebollado, the monfongo, y la chuletas. The staff were super super friendly. Absolutely amazing and will return.

This place is DOPE! Let me say this - food on the island isn’t even this good. So come get it all! The shrimp was dope , the sorullos are amazing (wish they were bigger old school style), the vegan fritanga is delicious, the pina colada OMGGGGG

I went to the club yesterday, the security guard(bald head) was very rude without reason…was actually unbelievable. Imagine getting uninvited attitude (like a teenage girl) from a grown man when you are just trying to enter the club and pay. It was very unprofessional and just showed how miserable it must be to be him.
I had plans to return and buy food but there’s no way I can only imagine how uninviting everyone else would be.

The food quality has went downhill very disappointing and unsanitary one of the cooks was in the back eating with their hands and she scooped my rice with her hand into a container to sell and it seemed like every time I eat there I get sick 🤢 and they raised their prices by $3 and some change
