I came for a coffee and a dessert for a snack a get warm up , the service was poor , my coffee was lukewarm almost cold and the banana bread was terrible. If my coffee had been hot the story would be different.

One of my favorite coffee spots in the D! A bit unique in that you can have your coffee beverage made of any of the many types of beans and roasts they have available thanks to their Javabot that uses a system of tubes connecting their various types of beans to the barista station. Kind of fits with the whole factory vibe They also have the types of coffee broken up into Full bodied (dark roasts), balanced (medium roast), and mild roasts in case you need some guidance as to what to choose. Want your latte made with Jamaica Blue Mountain beans? No problem! I usually take my coffee black as a pour over, aeropress or drip so I do the "brew by the cup" option which I think they do as an Americano but don't quote me on that. It is pretty unique. You can of course also by whole beans as well which I usually do. They are located in the lobby of First National building at Campus Martius so you can easily do some site seeing after grabbing your cuppa Joe. Parking in the area is usually street parking a few blocks away or the parking structures on Congress.

Ambiance: unique and cool with the tubes of roasted and unroasted coffee beans, impressive. However, when I ordered a cappuccino, everything was automatic, no skilled barista here. The coffee was acidic for my taste.

I had a fruity flavor coffee (forget the name ) and it was the best cup of coffee I think I’ve had all year.

This is one of Detroit's many great coffee roasters and shops. It's not a place to sit down, but if you want to grab a great cup of coffee, drop in.

I like the chai from this location. The location is my favorite part about this place. It is comfortable but also a bit small so I wouldn't stay for more then a quick coffee with a friend. The staff were friendly! I really did not like that the bathroom is in the main building lobby and you need to show your receipt to go...

I’m not a coffee professional, but it was pretty good. I got a white chocolate mocha with oat milk. Not sweet at all, I had to add sugar to drink it. The sitting area was really nice to ppl watch. I would visit

I went to the roasting plant today. Best cup of coffee, I've ever tasted!.The beans are roasted on site! I wish they could open more locations. I would love for them to come to Trenton, Riverview, Southgate, or Taylor. In addition to the coffee, they have some yummy cookies. I highly recommend recommended to anyone who works downtown or is visiting downtown Detroit.
