This place should have a 6th star.

- Drinks: On point.
- Absinthe experience: Waitstaff is very knowledgeable and it’s fun to watch. It’s STRONG and herby.
- Decor: Almost everything was custom build or original historical pieces.

Overall, this place is super comfortable and is the definition of a clean, classy pub/bar. It’s full of creativity and personality.

If you want history, the waitstaff can walk you through the renovations and history of the building going back to when it became the iconic Jacoby’s in 1904 and further to when it used to be a blacksmith shop and being originally built in the 1800’s.

If you’re ever seeking a quality bar, go here.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! Angie was our bartender. She made this experience top notch. One of the best bartenders/mixologist I've have yet to experience. From her mixologist skills to her great personality. Being from Las Vegas it's hard to find a place that is up to par with that service industry. Atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Cool spot. Staff friendly and prompt. Liked the decor too. Loved the green beans and I don’t usually like them. Also had the beet salad and chicken skewers. Would recommend this place.

Very cozy atmosphere with great music. Just be careful with your reservation as mine booked twice. Make sure it does not charge you twice. But a very cool place!

Absolutely outrageously priced cocktails. Went here for a drink after being at Sugar House earlier. Similar vibe but you pay over double here. was $25 and $30 for standard cocktails. I like the concept and the idea but this place can’t last when you pay double for the same beverage.

Made a reservation and canceled before the 24hr period. I emailed them morning of my reservation when I got a reminder and haven't heard back. They charged my credit card $100. There's not a phone number listed. Will never be giving them business.

Very expensive for what it is. Cocktails are $22-$32 dollars. Good but not amazing drinks. No cocktail garnish or clear ice. Food was quite good but similarly overpriced; $24 for three sliders. I asked for a glass of ice water after my first cocktail and was told they only offer "bottle service" for water. $140 for 3 drinks, 2 small plates, tax and tip. The bar itself is pretty cool just needs to be about 1/3 cheaper....

The vibe is decent nothing amazing, the security and staff were cool but what surprised me was I ordered one glass of wine and it was $34….. That’s ridiculous…. So when you go expect to pay double or triple what you would pay at an expensive cocktail bar for any drink

Incredible cocktails and delicious food. Staff is very attentive and this place is a great addition to Detroit's already robust cocktail scene.

Very cool spot, cocktails were great. Drinks were a bit pricier but the atmosphere is relaxed, newer, and has a great feel. Worth a stop. Didn’t get to try the food, but it looked good too. I’d say this a great hidden gem.

Came here on a business meeting because I wanted to take my clients out to enjoy some nice cocktails. This place was absolutely amazing! The bartenders were very knowledgeable about spirits and was fun watching them make the cocktails. The 1904 cocktail blew my mind. The drinks are strong but not over powering and taste fantastic. When you walk into Jacoby’s look for the well dressed gentleman standing by the stairs and ask him where Room 1904 is. The small plates are absolutely delicious. I had the sliders and 1904 Cauliflower. Highly recommend place if you want excellent food and craft cocktails.
