Best event venue in Detroit located on the Detroit River across from Belle Isle with spectacular views of the downtown skyline. The staff is amazing & food was delicious! DEF consider it for your next milestone birthday party or anniversary. It is also the premier location for weddings.

We hosted a holiday event at The Roostertail this month and it was absolutely fantastic. The venue was decorated amazingly—it truly felt festive and special from the moment we walked in.
The staff was incredible: fun, caring, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire event. A special shoutout to our event coordinator, Nicole. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail made the night spectacular. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests had an amazing experience.
This is a well-deserved 5-star review because of the outstanding staff and especially Nicole. Highly recommend The Roostertail for holiday events or any special occasion!

Roostertail did a a fantastic job hosting the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine's Annual Fall Med Gala. Nicole was a pleasure to work with and made everything extremely smooth. The venue was gorgeous, food was delicious, and the ambiance was unmatched.

My husband and my friends purchased New Year’s Eve 2025 tickets to the Roostertail for over $1,500, which advertised food service and two bottles of champagne. While the champagne was provided, food service was nonexistent for us. After driving 45 minutes to an hour in dangerous snowstorm conditions, we were never given the opportunity to eat because they don't have the food line for VIP and we have to wait for long time and ultimately left the event hungry around 2 a.m., when no restaurants were open. At this price point, we expected professionalism, organization, and accountability. Instead, the event was disorganized and poorly managed. This experience did not reflect the premium experience that was advertised or paid for. I would not recommend the Roostertail for New Year’s Eve events. The venue significantly overpromised, overpriced the experience, and underdelivered

I have not had an experience of this calibre In a long time. From the moment I arrived on the grounds and entered the building, everyone was on point and focused on their role in making the event a special memory. Thank you

I just celebrated my 70th birthday at the Roostertail. It was a truly wonderful experience. The decorum was beautiful, creating a magical and elegant winter wonderland atmosphere that perfectly suited the occasion.
The food was very good, Complementing the meal was the excellent service; Nicole and the staff were attentive, professional, and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It was a memorable day for me, my husband and all our guests.

Christmas at the Tail was the event of the season! We celebrated my little sister's 50th birthday in grand style, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The ticket price was a steal for all the amazing amenities included. We had an absolute blast in our masquerade attire which was exclusive for our party which was amongst so many other parties being held! We all had a blast dancing and enjoying the festive atmosphere. This is an event you won’t want to miss next year!🎉🎉🎉💯‼️🎄
