I feel like some restaurants treat you like you are not their concern. That it's just a cattle call and you should be be grateful they are serving you.. not enjoying the vibe

Cool little spot with quirky industrial materials used in unusual ways. Steam punk feel. Food was good, though a little behind, and service was average. Wonderful location near all of the theatres and ball parks.

The atmosphere 10/10, but the food 3/10, such a wasted opportunity! I tried the Santa Fe burger, very disappointed! the burger was not seasoned at all, no sauce, tasted like nothing. Tried one of their cocktails, also very bad. Tasted like store bought mixer.

Not bad. Not great! We were excited to try this restaurant after it was recommended by a friend. We arrived at 5:30, there was no one waiting in front of us and the restaurant was about 1/3 full. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait. We noticed there was only one waitress on the floor and proceeded to be patient and wait our turn. After nearly 45 mins and numerous people who arrived after us being sat (we assumed they had reservations), one of the busser checked on us and commented to fellow staff that we were still waiting. After getting our table, the hostess, Lilly, proceeded to take our drink order. She did inform us they were extremely short staffed but she was jumping in to help. Our waitress did stop by the table once to tell us Lilly would be bringing us our drinks. We never saw our "waitress" again. Lilly took our food order, brought our food, cleaned our plates, replenished our drinks and continually made sure we didn't need anything. For just "jumping in to help", she was a Rockstar! The food was good. We will be back. We enjoyed the atmosphere, decor and music. We thoroughly understand the current state of restaurants and are trying our best to support small businesses. With that being said, teamwork goes a long way these days and without it, I think we will see many, many businesses shutting down.

Great food with some unique flavor options like peanut butter and jelly hamburgers. I had the wings appetizer and the size and flavor of the wings were great, would get them again. We often find ourselves in Detroit wondering where to eat and we always know this is a reliable and nice sit down restaurant.

They are connected to my building. Love being able to drop in and have a great, crafted drink. Fish tacos and wings are amazing.

Pre COVID Rusted Crow: 5 stars. Spinach & artichoke dip was seriously the best I had ever had & their app with goat cheese & crostini was also amazing. Both burgers my friend & I had were very good as well. I don't remember which one she had but I think mine was the dill burger. Their food was unique, quality, and so delicious!! On top of the good food they had solid cocktails, good music, & an overall really cool rustic atmosphere inside. I was blown away & couldn't wait to come back. It was so nice I recommended it to all of my friends visiting downtown.Post COVID Rusted Crow: 1 star. This place now has some serious issues. I was really tempted to give a 1 star review but I remembered how good this place used to be and I know the staff was trying their hardest under the circumstances so I decided to give 3 stars based on the average of both of my experiences. We arrived there and they said it would be a 45 min wait for a table because they were low on kitchen staff but then they changed their mind and sat us. They then proceeded to give us a menu which had changed drastically since the last time I had been there. No spinach & artichoke dip - HUGE BUMMER since that was the reason I went there to eat. A lot of the menu items changed from unique but tasty pairings to things you could easily prep from the freezer (which while disappointing, it was understandable for their staffing situation). For the lack of staff, our service wasn't too slow but there were other larger parties that had to wait pretty long for their food. Despite the staffing circumstances - our server was a ROCK STAR! I wish I had her name to give her a shout out because she was incredibly friendly and accommodating to us while also trying to serve almost the entire restaurant by herself. Overall, I'd say most of the issues at this place are due to lack of staffing and organization. Until they can get that figured out, I would recommend not eating here because it is just not what it used to be. I really hope this place can get some more staff and bring their menu back up to par so they aren't another casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cool rustic atmosphere right downtown, great service from the attentive wait staff and the food was terrific! Great place to stop before a game or concert downtown!

We went in after the game, a party of eight, worse service ever, it took the 2 hours to bring us our food. The food was not even warm, I guess they let it set in the window,I guess they had to prep the food, apparently they didn't have a cook , we will never stop here again, If you want good hot food don't stop here because you can't get it here, it will be cold and terrible. Stop making up excuses for poor food and poor service.

Only gets a one star because I can't give it any lower! Worst customer service ever!! I will never go back or encourage anyone else to waste their time & money. We sat there waiting for our drinks for over 30 mins, after 1 hour and 20 mins we still didn't have our food. Our waitress kept saying their plating your food now... 10 mins later, they are plating your food now... the waitress disappeared... the waitress and I exchanged words and she threatened to call the cops, very rude and belligerent! No customer skills whatsoever to try and make everyone happy!!

We came to the Rusted Crow based on its great reviews for a night out on the town. It started with a not so friendly hostess, service was super slow, food was decent, and the whole staff seemed unorganized. The bartender was bringing drinks to the tables...ambiance and esthetics are super cool but if service doesn't get addressed asap, you won't have customers.

great food and atmosphere but terrible service. was told there was a 45 minute wait, after 90 minutes was told they could seat us but it could be up to another 2 hrs before we would get out food. At one point we were told we could order at the bar and then when we finally got the bartenders attention were told they were no longer taking food orders at the bar. extremely under staffed and the staff they do have is very inexperienced. don't waste your time here

My husband found this place last night and we took a Lyft over from the Motor City Casino Hotel. We loved the vibe and the drinks were amazing! The food-was absolutely delicious!! We got the tenderloin tips & portobello fries appetizer and it was to die for! For dinner, my husband got the mushroom swiss burger and I got the brussels sprout salad. Both of those were just okay. But overall the whole experience was perfect, and we would definitely come back again.
