If you're looking for a culinary adventure, try Saffron De Twah, a Morcoccoan restaurant on the east side of Detroit. The food is amazing--the chicken sandwich is the best you'll ever have in your lifetime. Don't leave without trying the tea. What a presentation! I can't possibly say enough good things about Chef Omar, and his restaurant! Not only is the food amazing - incredibly imaginative, then executed flawlessly - the people are warm and inviting. I can't believe it took us this long to find one of the best dining experiences we've had in Detroit. I hope you will find it much sooner. Like . . . go now. You'll thank me!
We had dinner here last night and the food was absolutely amazing! I could've eaten a whole bowl of the hummus. We are excited to go back and try some other menu options. It was also great that the chef/owner came out to talk to us and tell us about some of the recipes. What a treat! If you're looking for something different and great food, this is the place to go!
