Omg such a nasty, mildew, and molded kitchen. I use to work for this dirty establishment. They give spoiled milk to the patients 3 days in a row so far. The steam warmers that are supposed to keep the food hot, has food and mildew floating at the bottom in the water. The refrigerator that is supposed to store ingredients has a cross contamination issue with cooked food, raw food, food that's not dated or marked with an expiration date. Food that's halfway wrapped up, not properly stored. The manager tells the staff to put everything in Ziploc bags and just toss them anywhere you can find a spot for it. The health department has already been notified and is overdue to come down for an inspection. They trying to give this disrespectful lady a chance to clean her business up but it doesn't seem like she cares about real food safety for the public or the patients.

Samaritan Behavioral Center - If you or a loved one needs professional mental care, please, for the love of all things sane, DO NOT GO HERE.

If you or a loved one needs professional mental care, please, for the love of all things sane, DO NOT GO HERE. I was kept in ward B for 15 days (for not complying with the pill cocktails they were dosing me up with), as I have refused pharmaceutical pills since I was a teenager. The levels of professionalism, cleanliness, and care varied with every worker, but overall, this place was absolute hell and had my mental health in a rapid decline. It's inhumane to treat people the way that I, and other patients, were treated. How does a place claim to rehabilitate people, when they don't even give out medication for chronic pain, don't allow the prisoners a breath of fresh air, and don't offer any real physical exercise, among some of the biggest complaints among the other inmates. Overall, this place is a hellhole. My therapist was so disappointed that I had ended up there, as their reputation as one of the worst hospitals in the state really speaks for itself. Please, do not send anyone here, unless you really, truly hate them and want their insurance to be billed insane amounts for prison'esque "treatments". Inhumane, does not rehabilitate, punishes people that ended up there in a crisis situation; Samaritan Behavioral Center is only good for bleeding you and your insurance out, and breaking people with any sort of mental disorder and/or on the spectrum. This place deserves to be shut down.

I'm happy to finally be able to write this review. If you are someone looking for impatient help or your doctor is trying to send you here... RUN. I went to inpatient and high school and now about a month ago. So I had a lot to compare. This is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE. The staff members do not care, a great majority of them. They threaten patients with shots even if they're no being aggressive. I watched a patient be dragged through the hallway, limp, from a room with cameras to a room without. And then the patient was punched multiple times. There is no DBT or CBT therapy given there!! There was a woman with a white coat (can't remember her title) that would put her phone in her from coat pocket and record us. When I brought it to people's attention she came to try and defend herself and made rude comments in the halls. It's ghetto. And again the staff does not care. There is so much more I could say but you get the gist now. DO NOT GO HERE. AND I WISH THE MAYOR OR SOMEBODY WOULD LOOK INTO THIS PLACE AND SEE THAT IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

I stayed back in 2019 and it was the most disgustingly dirty place I have ever been in my entire life. There was dirt and god knows what on the floor, and few tiny bugs too. The maids there just didn't clean right and no one cared. The people who worked there are completely unprofessional to say the least. One of the patient's toilet did not work and they didn't fix it. One patient sustained an injury from tripping on urine that they did not clean right away. The poor elderly were sharing their diaper rations. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

it will really suck for your family member if they have a mental problem to go there and have to deal with nasty trifling rude nurses and doctors. the social workers barely do their job. you're better off going to havenwyck hospital or Stonecrest Hospital

This seems to be more of a money laundering operation, rather than a medical facility,as the doctors, nurses and social workers have little to no empathy whatsoever for these poor individuals that end up here. Most likely it’s due to their socioeconomic situation which restricts their ability to find resources to aid them. This facility would have been shut down within days if it was located in any of the suburbs of metro Detroit. Hippa- right violations and a lack of integri

The behavioral center is a nightmare, especially for someone with PTSD. It took everything I had to stay sane in there. Men were hitting on women and trying to make sexual advances (and vice versa), there were sometimes multiple fights daily, it was very unclean (food messes everywhere, people would be soaked in urine or have dedicated on themselves...and then sit down and the furniture not be cleaned til the following day. Multiple people hadn’t showered more than 1 time in
