Cannot go to bed tonight without writing this review first. Sat at the bar and service was impeccable. Bartender/waitstaff really knew the menu well. Ordered the trout, beet salad, and gnocchi all of which were flavorful and texturally perfect. For dessert, ordered the upside down carrot cake and pavlova. Ate every last bite even though we were already full. We will be coming back and bringing friends!

We went for the vegetarian options and they were blunt at best (cauliflower 3/5, smoked potatoes 2/5, mafladine 4/5, gnocchi 3/5) Don't get me wrong, everyting was tasty, just nothing special. And you are coming here for something special, thats the whole idea. We planned on trying the meat dishes and desserts as well, but honestly the dishes we tried were so much of a disapointment (for the price, I have to add), that we decided to leave.Service was attentive but made a few mistakes (wrong wine, mixed orders).152+tips for 5 dishes and 3 drinks. Not a good experience all together. Compared to Mabel Gray (the other highly graded fine dining place on the region) 2 weeks ago, this was a clear disapointment. If you neee further info, I'm more than happy to elaborate.

It was perfection, from first to last. Every single dish was truly exceptional and the service was beyond accommodating. Thank you, Kaitlyn, for your thoughtfulness, efficiency and poise. Thank you to the chefs and cooks for creating one of, if not THE best dining experiences I've ever had.Dietary restrictions: Even though I have a nut allergy I could enjoy dishes where the nuts were omitted and didn't feel I missed a thing. Very careful and accommodating place.

Best gnocchi you'll have.In. Your. Life.We got 3 vegetable plates and 2 main entree plates for 2 people and it was perfect.Dietary restrictions: When making a reservation, you can include any allergies, gluten/dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian restrictions. Our waitress asked again when we sat down. There's a large variety of menu options which taste incredible which can easily avoid any one of these.

Delicious, fresh, expertly prepared seasonal dishes in a lively (very loud!) setting. Service is attentive but not overly so. Do not miss the Seafood Fideua, which featured the most tender, smoky, flavorful octopus we have ever had (see picture). For dessert, the grapefruit Pavlova was DIVINE - a true show stopper - and not to be missed, though I do think many do (miss it) in favor of the more familiar desserts but they are missing out.

Best meal of our lives! Everything we got was fantastic
This place never ceases to amaze from the quality of its food, wine service, desert and menu options. The service rivals a Michelin restaurant.

We had an excellent dinner here while in town for work. The service was very good. Our server, Mark, took great care of us. Drinks and the meal were delicious. The gnocchi was my favorite, but every dish was cooked and presented well. The 4 stars for atmosphere was simply because the music was too loud. It was very difficult to converse without yelling.

I’ve eaten all over the world and lived in Manhattan for 8 years trying every restaurant I could get into…This… THE Selden Standard. Chefs kiss.Sit at the chef table / bar looking area where they cook on the open wood flames in front of you… watch these line cooks expertly execute their craft. 10/10, I’ve driven over an hour to go back multiple times with my wife.Oh and hats off to the wait staff too. Between y’all and the chefs, I’m hatless!Jokes aside, go there. Go there. For the love of all things holy go there and you won’t regret it, friend!
