We love Seva, both locations but this one is our favorite. The servers and managers are all so friendly and make you feel very comfortable, the vibe is warm and positive, and that's just not something you get much of anymore, so I love really places like this. The food, wow! The food is amazing, everything we've ever had was 10 out of 10, consistently. And everything was clean, the tables, the walls, floors, cutlery, cups, bathrooms, everything. We love your restaurant, thank you for continuing to serve amazing food in a clean and healthy environment, all while treating people with kindness and respect. You are appreciated!

One of the best vegetarian food that we had during our stay in Detroit. Lovely ambience and so many options to choose. My top picks are the peanut stir fry and lemon almond tart. Can't beat them. Would love to revisit again.

Great food. All items are vegan with dairy options. Good drinks. Service can be a bit slow at times but management is great if any issues with food. Wife and I eat here a lot. Make it part of our Detroit weekend. East parking on the street with the park in Detroit

As a vegetarian with a friend named Seva, I was really looking forward to try it here. We arrived at 5:15 on Sunday and were told it would be a 15 min wait. After about an hour of waiting with a hungry toddler, we had to leave. The entire time we were waiting, we didn't see any food leave the kitchen. No one was called to sit at their table either. And we couldn't even find anyone to tell them we were leaving. I also want to add the chairs to sit in while waiting we're incredible uncomfortable, leading down hill so you're sitting at a slant downward, with a chair railing your upper back. We ordered Slows to Go while sitting and waiting and had our food within 20 min.

The service and food have completely gone downhill. I am so sad to see this from having a longtime love affair with this restaurant. They had un bussed dirty tables everywhere. The food was inconsistent. We were Celebrating a birthday and was completely embarrassed at the level of bad service and food. The sauce they served were nothing like in the past it was flavorless. The pesto was oily. They would not put our sandwich on our preferred bread and everything that came out was wrong. Let's hope the Ann Arbor is still giving the wonderful food they used to have. So sad they don't respect Detroit diners.

Food is ok. Service not so much, and definitely understaffed. As a business owner, we all want to make money.. It shouldn’t be at the expense of giving basic quality services. The server was food running, busing tables, and bartending. While our food was sitting, waiting to be served. Not for sure if I’ll be returning or recommending.

Always a great meal at Seva Detroit. My favorite item on the menu is the Tempeh Ruban with a side of yam fries.Dietary restrictions: Lots of dietary restriction friendly menu items and most dishes can be altered (think vegan cheese instead of dairy cheese)

There's this amazing restaurant that I love going to, especially since they offer a great selection for vegetarians. Sometimes, after my classes, I head over there to grab a bite. The ambiance of the place is so captivating that you can't help but get lost in the paintings that adorn the walls around you. The customer service is top-notch too, with incredibly friendly staff who make you feel right at home.

Food is good. Bar staff is great. Front staff seems over-worked and stressed. If you’re there for a pickup order, don’t stand in the front waiting for 10 minutes for someone to say something to you. Go back to the bar where you’re supposed to go for carryout pickup. Take this review as the sign that should be by the front door but isn’t.

Everything was delicious and so many vegan options ? I expected a spicy surprise from one of the peppers but it didn't come, thankfully ? Was impressed by the brat for having such an interesting take on Banh Mi, highly recommend it! The wait time can be tedious though compared to their Ann Arbor location, so prepare to wait at least 20 minutes for entrees, but the staff is so friendly and checks regularly!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options
