She did a great job giving us recommendations, explaining everything in detail, and was warm and kind the whole time.Food was great as well, only issue the whole night was that servers, assistants, and bussers constantly kept touching my chair and bumping into our table. Experience would’ve been a little better if the tables weren’t so packed together.

We were celebrating our 25th anniversary. The staff made it special. The food was amazing. Had the oysters, meatballs, foccia bread, risotto, porterhouse, mashed potatoes, and carrots. Everything was beyond perfect! Full bar with top end drinks. Highly recommend the creme bruele best i have ever had!

I recently visited Sexy Steak to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. The atmosphere and overall vibe were really nice — it definitely felt like a great place for a special occasion. The ambiance was probably the highlight of the evening.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The steak was very basic and lacked the flavor and quality I was hoping for, especially at that price point. Overall, I felt the food was overpriced for what we received. I truly wanted to love the experience, but the meal itself was disappointing.

I went to Sexy Steak on Valentine’s Day, with a reservation at 5:30. It was my first time here, and we reserved for this day in December so I was anticipating this dinner date for a long time- and they did not disappoint! From the moment i walked in to the moment i left, everyone was on their A Game, seriously. From the hostess detail on my reservation, showing me the bathrooms on the way to my table, to being sat, being welcomed, the wonderful people refilling our waters like clockwork and the people taking our plates away right when we finish, to most importantly, our amazing server. Ryan C., you were the best server we could’ve hoped for when coming in to Sexy Steak for the first time. Very professional and even more, friendly. He helped us out with the menu, made great suggestions, and gave us some great laughs along the way. That Caesar salad he prepared for us table-side was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Ryan, and Sexy Steak, for giving us the most perfect Valentine’s Day dinner!

10 out of 10 highly recommend this is actually my second time going to sexy steak for dinner. Everything that I ordered was impeccable I honestly have no complaints. The place is expensive but I feel like the price that I've paid. It was totally worth it. I've been to lots of steakhouses and some that have high prices and don't live up to the hype, but sexy state definitely lives up to the hype of their prices on their menu. Appetizers were chefs kiss the steaks were cooked to perfection. The desserts were amazing and our waiter was great. If I had to complain about anything and it's literally nitpicking is that I wanted to get a knife to buy and they didn't have any pink ones. They had only white and reservations are always hard to snag so you definitely wanna get them away in advance

Such an amazing experience our waitress was amazing she explained everything to us as first time diners. She offered hot towels, gave us decorative napkins for our galentines and a rose. 10/10 would go back.

Overall the service and food was outstanding. Two things that I noticed, the carpets were dirty for a newer upscale restaurant . The second thing , we were there to celebrate a 60th birthday and wrote that in the reservation. Unfortunately, they did not do anything at the table to acknowledge his birthday. Usually at restaurants, they bring out a little something and sing happy birthday. That was my only disappointment. Otherwise, your water glasses were always full, the Caesar salad was the best and the steak was delicious. A little disappointed with the birthday. Thanks

We had a great time at Sexy Steak. The food was amazing - especially the Wagyu ribeye and the sauteed corn. We had our three boys with us and the server was extremely helpful. If you are going downtown to see a show, the Detroit Opera is within walking distance. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
