The welcome was pretty warm and the food was hot as well. The wine selection was moderate and obviously well managed. Got my order pretty fast. This fine restaurant serves up Asian Fusion Food. Get some Chinese and even some familiar Thai fare favorites—like PadThai, Some curry dishes—I even came across Thai Pad See Ew on the menu. Serving up some Thai id like to see a lil more heat with the warm welcome and hot food. Give it a lil Thai chilly on the side and I’d be satisfied...

I ordered carry out on a Monday and the food was ready in 15 minutes. The inside was cozy and has both bar and table seating. They offer a very wide range of Asian dishes including sushi. The sesame chicken I had was delicious and had plenty of sweet sauce. I'll be back!

Shangri La Restaurant was awesome! I'm from Colorado and while visiting Detroit, I decided to eat at Shangri La. We ordered dumplings, shrimp and vegetables, soups, eel sushi and chicken wings. Everything we ordered was delicious. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back and eat there.

Parking: Parking was available right next door to the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: My 2 kids were able to order their favorite meals-chicken...
