If you haven't been here you have no idea what kind of amazing home cooked food you are missing out on. Mrs. Doris does not mess around. I saw an article in the Freep that was about this little restaurant and the wonderful woman that lived in South Carolina that owns it. I thought to myself well... I need this. I haven't had good soul food since I lived in North Carolina! She did not have greens today due to catering for large parties this past weekend.... but ill be back for just about EVERYTHING! Come out and support this wonderful woman and her amazing skills!

I read an article in the Free Press about this wonderful southern woman and her outdoor restaurant. I decided to give it a try. I had the catfish and yellow rice. It was soooooo good. The menu changes daily and I will be back everyday to try everything! I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Kind service and a home cooked meal. Decided to make a visit after reading about in the newspaper. Baked beans were hot; however, corn was cold and smoked sausage was also served cold. If food was prepared ahead of time would appreciated if it was warmed prior to serving.

Took my mom out for lunch here. Such an admirable little setup. Wish my neighbor did this! Everything tastes great, especially the ribs.

Ain’t nothing wrong with slanging food out a crib but to not smell any bbq smoke and hear nothing but the microwave as they reheated my ribs and plain string beans straight out the freezer is wild! I felt disrespected and tried supporting this very polite couple🙏🏾😩! When I called they made excuses about certain items being sold out because of the amount of order they were swamped with from the church at the corner. When I finally found the house, cactus might as well been rolling by! 🤣😭 not a customer in sight!!! They done took some left overs and slapped in the microwave and sold it to me! Ask me how I know!??? They allowed me to come in and witness it 🥴🥴🥴🥴 Lovely ppl but I wouldn’t feed that trash to the homeless that’s why they keep getting shut down! If you’re gonna slang food out a house at least make sure the food is so good that nobody cares💯🙏🏾 Then they tried offering me another reheated rib in which I refused to touch cause I’m like you can sell that to someone else just hand me my money back! Again, this couple may be going through hard times but the food was so old I felt robbed and disappointed that an older couple would lie to me about having fresh food because of the amount of customers they had!
