Oh man this place is delicious! I love finding interesting takes on tacos when I’m out of town. The elote wings should not be missed and the pollo taco was so juicy. Menu isn’t big but will tick all your boxes.

Stopped in on a motorcycle trip through Michigan, and had the most amazing tacos here. The staff are really cool and friendly, I’ll make another trip from Toronto to Detroit just to get these tacos again.

Update: The owner of Shell Shock’d reached out and was very apologetic about my experience at the restaurant. She offered me another opportunity to get another eggroll and experience what her store is truly about, timeliness and customer service.
There were 2 orders ahead of me. I ordered an eggroll and it took over 30 min, exactly 34 min for 1 eggroll. The food is good. However, more thoughts and strategy should be spent on time management. I wasn’t the only customer who was waiting for their meal. Some who had ordered ahead of me.

The food was good but way overpriced, especially considering how close this place is to Mexican town and Southwest, where you can get better tacos for half the price. The service was shit though and I won't be returning specifically for that reason. You're money will be better spent somewhere else where you will be treated like a paying customer
