We had the Shields Super and Cheese bread. The pizza was excellent and the cheese bread was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely return.

It was kind of like a dead zone when I stop by. I tried the new Philly steak Pizza I wouldn't recommend. Stick with the pepperoni and cheese please 🤤🤤

Pizza was delicious seemed waiting in window cause caramelization was cool. Bar was dirty. Prolly cause they have so much stuff on bar top competing with space. Staff was WONDERFUL.

First time at shields. Went with a big party for a prearranged birthday party. The staff were very helpful and very accommodating. The food was delicious as well. Only down side is the parking is not handicap friendly. Parking is street parking across the main road.

Shields was a good time and the server although it was slow was on it. She recommended I get the dry rub wings and she was so right. Great lunch before we headed to the Michigan science center.

Shield's Restaurant Bar serves Detroit-style deep-dish square pizza. We visited on a Friday for lunch after spending the morning at the Detroit Institute of Arts and were looking for a Detroit Pizza. The restaurant has a nostalgic feel, loaded with sports memorabilia, fun pictures, quotes, and TVs. Service was fast, friendly, and upbeat. We called ahead for a Greek salad and a Detroit pizza, and it was ready soon after our arrival. The salad was top-notch, and the pizza was high quality; however, it was undercooked and doughy. Next time, we'll make sure to have our pie cooked a couple of minutes extra.
