Decided to have a gathering for my apartment warming here. Staff was very friendly and even decided to stay open longer to accommodate my guests. The food was fresh and tasty and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for sure!

After a year of pitiful service and mediocre food, the place has seen a transformation. Dishes are yummy. New servers are happy and attentive. Clientele feels more like a diverse "Cheers" crowd, where no one is a stranger, than a site for residents with nowhere else to go. Prices are reasonable. Grilled vegetable wrap, fresh tea and sensational carrot cake left me with an $18 bill and a smile. I like to take newspapers and just relax. Others are laughing, singing, making toasts. Honestly, just wonderful. While Aretha Franklin no longer lives just up a few flights of stairs, her joyful spirit remains. Highly recommend.

Food is ok (when it comes out correctly). Menu is not clear on what's included and not on certain entrees. Still sitting here after being insulted by a waitress who was not servicing our table (the waitress we did have was very sweet and upset at the situation).

If zero was an option, I would choose zero. Rude staff, uninformed, and service was slow. Menu is unclear about what's included as sides for certain dishes. My husbands order was messed up twice and he eventually declined receiving a dish at all as we were all done eating at that point. If this wasn't bad enough, another waitress took it upon herself to come over with an attitude and defend their menu which is clearly flawed and is obvious to everyone except the staff themselves. I would never come here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else, ever. What a horrible place.

The view is AMAZING but that's the only thing good I can say about this place the chairs and the tables were raggedy the chairs had rips all in the leather , we requested a table to be cleaned and they couldn't do it, the drinks were extremely watered down and the service was subpar and the food was not good ESPECIALLY for the price

This place was horrible. My cousin requested mozzarella sticks (which were on the menu) and they said they don't serve mozzarella sticks so we never got them. When we got the bill, they charged us for mozzarella sticks. We waited 2 hours for our food to come out, and when it did it was cold. I ordered a chicken dinner with a baked potato, I received a slimy cold mess they called a chicken leg and a scoop of cold mashed potatoes. When I complained, they only took 2 dollars off the bill and I didn't even eat the meal!! I had to argue with them for an hour before they took it off of my bill. I would recommend staying FAR away from this restaurant.

BUT we Waited over an hour for our food to come out and it when it finally did almost everyone in the party had something wrong with there food. Most was cold or dry. Also I ordered an appetizer and didn't receive it til I was finished picking over my cold dry food. The appetizer was also not fresh. On top of that our part waited 35 mins for the bill and had to take it back to be corrected at LEAST 4 times. NEVERRRR AGAIN.

Tl;dr - stay away. improperly cooked food, lip service / poor communication from staff, and extreme slowness. I had hopes for this place due to the convenience and memories of a good calzone a couple years ago, but this happens to be a horror story. We ordered 2 pizzas and a calzone for pick up and was quoted 35 min. I arrive 40 mins later to pick up, and the food isn't ready. 10 mins later it comes out, the two pizzas are burnt to a crisp (pizza is half char) and calzone is undercooked. They don't say anything. When we get home we see this, we turn around, and come back. The cooks are near the front counter, and when we show the burnt food and complain, the cooking staff starts to get angry with us. They try to argue it's not burnt. The owner comes over and looks at the pizzas, states that they clearly are burnt, and offers to have them remade. In the mean time she says she'll give us so nachos and chicken wings, which will be ready in 5-10 min. Taking her for her word, we agree to her proposal. 30 mins later and after asking a couple times, they finally give us a ton of wings, but no sauce. We really just want to take the pizza home at this point...and they still haven't put it in the oven. This place isn't even busy! We ask the owner for an update, and she begins venting to us about her cooking staff. Saying it'll be ready in 10 min. We then go stand by the 'to go' / counter area, and the cook starting venting to us about the management. 20 min later and we're here, just waiting for our food...

Hand to god the slowest service i have ever experienced. Every time i have ordered a carry out they say 20-25 minutes , i give it at least 30 and end up waiting an additional 15-20 when i get there.

This restaurant has a great view of Windsor Canada great parking. I went for a birthday dinner party and I was absolutely without any plant based ption of anything to eat besides a very dry salad ... ( no salad option for someone who does have a plant-based diet.. . not even a balsamic for a dressing to a salad . The server explained to me that even somehow the mushroom dishes and everything Else that they servealready arrive packed and butter, or some other animal products that I don't eat . So the dining experience there for me was nonexistent . Otherwise everyone seemed to be truly happy with their catfish dinners, which seem to be there most popular dish. Although it is 2018 they only have one card reader to cash out your bill for the entire restaurant, so I suggest bringing cash. Apart from this to that place is otherwise well maintained and I had a nice DJ so I'm not certain is there regularly on a Friday or if they were commission for the party.

Went there on a Friday evening around 4:30. Only a handful of people at the bar and one table with four people, so we thought we would get quick service. Sat by window for the view but had to move because it was so cold (temp outside in the 20s but still). Service was extremely slow. Took almost 15 minutes to get our menu and another 45 minutes to get our food (burger and fish and chips). Food was edible but just barely. Burger was burnt on the outside, rare on the inside (ordered it medium rare). Fish was heavily breaded, meat was mushy. French fries and baked potato were barely warm. Waitress was friendly and helpful but overworked. Chance of going back - zero.
