Waited 10 minutes to be seated and only people in line. Worst food I have ever had, terrible service. Raw steak. Asked for a loaded potato, received a plain potato. The waitress asked for it to be put on a side plate. The waitress returned it with melted cheese and overcooked bacon . Bread came after the meal was over. Even through, the bread was delivered to the table to the left and right as soon as they were seated. The manager only took off half price of the meal! It will be a long time before I return! We were given a bill including a 28.00 service charge, that was the tip. Asked the table next to us that was a party of 6. It was not included in the their bill. But our party of 3 it was!

We attempted to grab a quick bite in between a wedding and the rehearsal. When we parked, a gentleman in a tshirt asked for $5 for parking. I asked if that was for lunch. He informed us its anytime. Mind you, its Saturday at 1pm. The lot only has about a dozen vehicles and I didnt see any boats parked when we pulled up. I asked again and he said its $5 so we left. I shouldnt have to pay you to park in your lot to have food at your restaurant. We won't attempt this place again.

I had heard that this restaurant was a classic. The fish was okay, but pricey. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was that of a regular fish house. Authentic in feel.

It started off pleasant. I sat at the bar. Although spirit options have fallen off, I settled on an old favorite. Ordering food did not go as well. The young lady who took my order was obviously distracted by something about me. Did I owe her money in a previous life? The clam chowder was thick and not creamy at all. Sounds odd but no way to describe it better unless they been serving that same batch past the throw out date. It came with a pack of crackers and two bread rolls which looked like they were left overs from someone else’s table, how unfortunate for me; one had a finger poke and were both cold and hard like when bread is microwaved too long. Was that the best part of the meal? I ordered the cajun steak bites, no rice and vegetables which I asked if I could order it that way. However, when it was brought out it was on rice with vegetables. What? Nevertheless, it was taken back to the kitchen and brought back out to the group of guests sitting at the end of the bar. The one it was sat in front of blurted out he did not order it. She told him it was a mistake and apparently he received a free offering. What? Is he a regular? And, I thought it odd both bartender and assistant kept repeating my name quite loudly in fact, as if to call me out for not being an obedient guest. I already hate to send food back and usually call it a night when that happens especially if the server feels some type of way and is faking professionalism at this point. I was actually hungry even ordered my usual to go. Yes, I used to frequent the place. A lot of new faces, obviously a minute since my last visit.
So …. the cajun steak bites she recommended were a greasy mess and the dip was a waste of ingredients. They were better without it although mediocre in comparison to that item around the City. They slipped on my loaded potato. I had to remind her and I had hoped there would not be further retaliation. Oh well! Got what I deserved for asking for my whole order. How dare I expect well prepared food at value. The cheese drowned the outer skin on top of the potato and was nowhere else. How does an experience team over bake a potato? It was hard and ridiculously served anyway. Lucky me, right? Kept calling my name quite loudly about how sorry they were they forgot to bring it. Not the fact that it was barely edible. Is this to embarrass me or what? I could not get outta fast enough and still hungry cause nope did not eat it asked for a to go container and still had to wait on my to go food. Kept asking if I wanted water or another drink. Should have cancelled that to go order. Yes, a regular menu item which never disappointed me, ever! How do you serve fake shrimp. I could not even chew it. And, they cut down the number in the order cause I hate to think this is picking on me again. Yikes!!

I even gave a proper tip 🤦🏽‍♀️

Not adding a photo. This show was just for me. I hope your experience is better.

Absolutely Awful!!! My wife and I will not return! We expected much better, especially for a restaurant that's been in business for 75yrs
. Can't believe that the restaurant was highlighted by channel 4 news. I knew it was going to be a problem when we were greeted,if you want to call it that, by the host, she was very unprofessional and not pleasant,it was down hill from there, from the service to the food!Adding insult to injury, we spent over $200, which made us feel even worse, like major rip-off worse!

Fantastic staff-50 years of service! Good sandwiches and excellent, friendly dockmaster Dwayne for our lunch. Lots of variety on the menu I love the pickeral. Docks are a little beat up, but it’s a great destination spot Ez to dock.

I took my sister here today for lunch for her 70th BD
The 2 men behind us were seated first, they had to clean a table for us prior to seating us
Once seated we received silverware and napkins
A waitress brought water
We waited a few minutes and had to ask for menus
The ladies across from us were given fresh rolls
We ordered our food
I had the julienne salad and a bowel of clam chowder and coffee with cream and Splenda
My sister in law a cup of soup and the fish dinner
With a sprite
The waitress brought a coke , had to remind her she ordered a sprite
The waitress brought coffee and Splenda no cream
Had to ask for cream
Half way into our meals we had to ask for the complimentary rolls
And the waitress seemed surprised that we hadn’t gotten any
The food was average
Coffee great
Waited awhile for the bill
Which was just over $50.00
