Even as I write and post this review I’m disappointed… when I tell you I was SUPER EXCITED about going to this place it’s a UNDERSTATEMENT… Since I no longer reside in Michigan I decided to call and try and reserve a place for my moms wedding reception. Started off with PURE EXCELLENCE speaking with a guy name Zac who gave specific instructions on where he would seat us what room and it was just amazing finally Zac sys we are all set . Two days later I get a call from Denise saying she the Manager and my reservation is not confirmed and I need to speak with her (rude). She goes to tell me everything Zac stated was false and he is new but she will take care of us and give us everything he promised. Today my mom goes down to just see what room we will be in for planning purposes. Mom experience in person rude staff for an intro while waiting for Denise then Denise comes out nice nasty attitude total 360 of demeanor of what was on the phone her shift manager cookie comes over and has a piece of paper of what we discussed and agreed on then there goes stretching the true . Mom felt like she was treated unfairly as a African American and totally mistreated I will be filling a report against them and rhe bbb this is just AWFUL. I was so looking forward to it !

I had the seafood platter, and it was delicious. The shrimp were huge, the scallops were very tender. All prepared perfectly. Waitress was friendly and attentive but not hanging around. Great choice for dinner.

My go to for all my shopping needs, they always have the best and most fresh produce ! The owner Sal is very sweet and welcoming everytime I go there! I love getting all my meat from there, they cut it fresh just the way I ask! Thank you Sal for caring so much, and always having a smiley face

It has passed it's prime. Sinbad's is a used to be ... sorry, I gotta call it like I see it.
I have had many great meals there over the years, the clam chowder is to die for and i usually order the shrimp and scallops and occasionally surf and turf.I am retired in Florida now and came home for a visit last November and that was where I had my first meal back in Detroit.Food and service are always excellent and I always look forward to having a meal there when I am back in town.
It was wonderful company and most of the food was very good. My only complaint is that the grilled pork chops didn't seem to have much seasoning on them.

I went there yesterday for the first time in 10 years with a party of 25, which was reserved. The tables were in the same area but not together. We had to keep sending food back because it was undercooked, but most of all I felt really uncomfortable because the manager(a) sat at the table just behind my party and kept staring like we were going to get up and walk out. I will never patronize this establishment again. My bill was over $1,000 and fully paid for in cash for a joyous occasion. I wish I would have went to my first choice but because this was closer to my function it was a logical choice, never, never again.
We routinely drive from Ann Arbor to Sindbads. My wife always orders the lobster and asks to have it de-shelled prior to coming to the table. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating! We’ve celebrated several special occasions and always look forward to returning. Perch is amazing as well as the Alaskan King Crab
