Quality of the Steak\tThe meat is excellently prepared: deep, flavorful crust, good seasoning (salt + pepper, maybe a subtle herbed butter or garlic finish), interior cooked evenly to the requested doneness. Juiciness was good — resting time allowed the juices to redistribute. Marbling in the cuts added richness. Texture was tender, not chewy.\tA slight inconsistency: one of the steaks (ordered medium rare) came closer to medium. Might suggest timing or grill “cold spot” issues. Also, thinner cuts didn’t hold heat as well toward the end. Occasionally, the fat cap or outer fat showed uneven trimming.

I looked at the menu online before going because I wanted lamb chops. The menu online clearly said you get an order of five lamb chops plus two sides for market price. When I got there, the menu I was handed said $40 for a half pound. I assumed the half pound was the same as the five that was listed on their website.
I ordered lamb chops, asked for medium. There were only four other people in the entire restaurant on a Tuesday night, so it was slow, but it still took an hour and twenty minutes for the bartender to finally bring me my food. When the plate hit the table there were only three lamb chops. I asked her, isn’t it supposed to be five? She just said “no” like that was the end of it.
I bit into the first one. Sweet and sticky sauce covering burnt meat. Completely well done inside. Not one came out medium. Two of the three had broken bones on the ends definitely not French trimmed like advertised online. I tried all three just to see if maybe one was edible. Nope. All burnt on the outside, dry and overcooked on the inside, no seasoning.
The sides weren’t any better. The mac and cheese had oil pooling at the bottom of the bowl. The green beans were completely flavorless. Meanwhile the ladies sitting next to me started complainin because they had been waiting an hour and still hadn’t gotten their food.
So basically I went into this restaurant to pay them to ignore me, not have the food advertised on the menu and cook the food they did have horribly. All for the low low cost of 18% gratuity on a single person’s bill on a Tuesdays night sitting at the bar. The bartender graciously kept an extra dollar of my change when I paid.
I wasted an hour and a half in this place and left hungry. Do your wallet a favor and stay far away.

My Cajun salmon was dried out, my parmesean fries tasted liked they were cooked in old grease. I ordered 2 sides of mashed sweet potatoes and when opened both containers there were old syrupy candy yams in both containers. I was very upset and spent $45 in total. Ate there yrs ago it was not that problem. Check your food before you leave. I was very upset.
Took to long with my food , one of the first to order last to receive it, kept forgetting my stuff, no napkins, straws, by the time they came out with my food had to leave other then that food was good

Took my daughter for her 20th Birthday on a Tuesday, place was empty with the exception of our party of about 8. Service was just ok. The waitress tried but our meal took over an hour and food was terrible.
I guess red flag number 1 was the place was empty, needless to say everyone was sick the next day. My daughter had to send her Lamb chops back🤮 my chicken was burnt. My other daughter and her friend had Alfredo it was soupy and the steak bites🤮. We looked forward to this dinner (oh and we drove an hour to get there🤬 Definitely first and last time.)

Service and food were terrible. We all got ONE glass of water that was placed at the table when the first guest of our party arrived and that was all that was offered to us the entire time. There was no mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, or asparagus available. Once the waitress took our orders, she didn’t return until it was time to serve us the food that took well over an hour to receive down to a basic Cesar salad. She seemed more happy to see us leave than come in. Keep in mind, we were the only people there. When we finally received our food, majority of it was cold and unseasoned. The wings were burnt, pastas were runny, steak & chicken bites were compared to tv dinners, lamb chops were small, nasty, and expensive for no reason, mac and cheese was tasteless and greasy, smothered potatoes were also unseasoned and greasy. We literally had a cup for grease at our table. Nobody even bothered to take their food home. This use to be one of my favorite spots, but the quality has gone down the drain. Pretty sure they add that high gratuity because they know most people wouldn’t willingly tip. Just cook at home.

Came here with Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter. I turned down $490 from my friend for it, but the food was great, so I'd say it's worth it. Richter's a weirdo. I tried paying $90 for him to go to the library while Conan and I ate but it wasn't possible. Richter's a weirdo. I go to sleep in a shower cap. Richter's a weirdo.

Horrible experience horrible experience horrible experience!!!!
I had what was supposed to be my 53rd birthday celebration there. It was scheduled for a party of 15. When I arrived the inside was completely empty, kind of a red flag but I ignored it. The tables were not set for my party, the bartender Mikela requested assistance from the cook to set up When he came to the front he told me that I was going to need to tip him because that wasn't his job. The night only got worse. My reservation were a week in advance, yet they were not prepared for my party The bartender started she wouldn't have any help, the reservation were for 7 and everyone arrived on time. We didn't get water with lemon until after 8pm. She gave us a drink menu but she wasnt able to make half of the drinks on the menu because they did not have the liquor to make the drinks. On the food menu they didn't have the steaks or the lobster tail and something else. I ordered smothered turkey chops because I don't eat beef or pork. At 930ish some of the food came out. There was a splash of gravy on my turkey chops, I complained because they were not smothered, the asparagus were sent back because they were cold and I never received the smothered potatoes. Many of my other guests ordered the pasta however they were sent out wrong. Either the type of meat was wrong or the Cajun was added or not added. Around 10pm a young couple walked in. I didn't think nothing of until one of my guest heard the girl say...these old people need to hurry up and get out of here. I left the table to address the young girl. She told me that she was the owners daughter and that she was 22 years old, that she didn't need to be talking to me because she didn't have on a bra and her hair wasn't comb and she just came to close. I was thrown back by her rhetoric and demanded to speak with the owner. She went back and forth with me for about 20 minutes. Mind you of the 15 people at least 5 of them had not received their food. I was still demanding to speak with the owner the young girl then says I'm going to give you a 30 % discount. I told her that want enough as she is rude disrespectful and had ruined my birthday dinner. She continued to call us old people and said just leave y'all didn't have to pay nothing. We didn't even get a chance to eat, so why would we pay for poor service. The insult to injury is that I called a couple days later to speak with the owner. Instead I got the manager LaTonya. She apologized profusely and offered and opportunity to make it write for me. I explained to her that delayed leaving a review to see how things were going to be handled She asked me not to leave a negative review and to call her and she would have my meal of choice prepared as a dine in or carry out. I called last week and she didn't answer so I texted her. I identified myself and told her what I wanted. She responded back by saying we don't have power. I have allowed and entire week to elaspe and she has not contacted me back.
This is a poorly ran business in the community. This is exactly why trying to patronize black businesses is overrated. This was a horrible experience and started my birthday dinner off really bad. My family and Friends mean a great deal to me and this was a very embarrassing moment. Again, the manager didn't even make me whole as promised from the first disrespectful incident. I'm over it!!!!

One the customer service is phenomenal huge shout out to Tanya! It’s almost impossible to walk out without a smile. The food itself was great too! We had the lamb chops with mac on the side and it was all so delicious I think I found a new lamb chop spot. Our server Erin did a great job too. Even though I think she was the only server that night she was still quick and always made sure we were good. Overall a 10/10 experience

The lamb chops were amazing, which says a lot coming for me. I’ve eaten a lot of lamb chops and these are in the top 3! The asparagus, turkey chops, and Long Island iced tea was delicious as well. Service was great and wait time was great. This restaurant is awesome! I will be back!

I am black man and I took my wife there for dinner today on Cinco de Mayo, place was empty ,took 2 hours for us to get our food my wife's food was ice cold and my burger was hot, waitress was very rude, wen my wife asked for a box. smh.said ..t thought you didn't want your food...She didn't want to eat it cold, and be charged for the worst racial experience ..so blatant about it .so if you're a black man and have a white wife or a white girlfriend do not take her there. The owner and his staff should be ashamed of their conduct.Thats Why people with money and morals stay away and the place remains a Dive😞
