This is the best Jamaican spot I’ve found in metro Detroit. I tried the j*** chicken, curry goat, oxtails, and mac & cheese. Everything was wonderful. The preparations are different than other Jamaican places in the area. The goat was so tender. The sauces are incredible. Also incredible is the hospitality. They’re so kind & generous. Don’t skip the wonderful sorrel, pineapple, & ginger juice.

The Food was AMAZING!! Ive been looking for an authentic Jamaican experience here and I found it today! The Owner was so sweet and she definitely took care of me. I usually don't like Plantains but these were sooooo good!!! My Beef Patty didn't even make it home. Lol The J*** chicken was falling off the bones and the spice was ?. I'll definitely be back VERY SOON!! ?

The food was delicious! I loved the j*** chicken and the gravy along with the rice and beans was well done. I didn't quite like the side salad along with the meal. However the plantains were AMAZING. Piping hot and beautifully cooked. Definitely worth it.

Food is very good! We had the curry goat and curry chicken. The meat was falling off the bones tender. Curry Flavors are soaked into the bones so delicious. Seasoned well not overly salty. Plantains are delicious. I will definitely be coming back here.

First off, Ms. Sophie has a beautiful spirit and it shows through her impeccable cooking. I’m never waiting long,food is always hot, fresh, and tasty. ? Excellent customer service all around, from the ordering process all the way to the packing of your food, which is always neatly tied and my food doesn’t spill. And not to mention the restaurant is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The whole experience is a vibe. 10/10 . I definitely recommend , you won’t be disappointed!!

Love everything she makes, but the oxtail is a favorite. Don't even need the meat, just the gravy, rice, and peas. Ginger lemonade is refreshing and soothing. Just lovely people making lovely food!

Listen, if you haven't tried this place, you are totally missing out. I've eaten here 4 times within 2 weeks and I live 40 mins away. The food is awesome. Try the J*** chicken dinner. The beef patties are great. The hospitality is welcoming...some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Customer service goes a long way. By far, the best Jamaican food in the city. I won't go anywhere else. They have a customer for life.

I really enjoyed the curry chicken I got from here. The rice and peas and plantains were great as well. They even gave me a ginger lemonade for being a first time customer.Still, what really won me over was the hospitality. I almost never feel as welcomed as a customer as I did at this establishment. You can tell they care about what they do here.I'll be back to try their vegetarian options as well.
Stopped into day and wasn't disappointed. The food was amazing and the wonderful woman (whom we didn't catch her name) was personable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful soul u can tell she cared abt the food everything was fresh! J*** chicken ❤️? authentic seasoned well. Nice char. The veggies. Plantains (and I don’t even like those) were very satisfying!!!! Can’t wait to get oxtails. They will be my goto for Jamaican. Thank you.
