Soul on Ice has a very good vibe! The atmosphere was nice. The staff were friendly and the owners were present and engaging, by greeting guest and checking in during the evening! The food and drinks were phenomenal! Can’t say enough about those wings and my shrimp Caesar salad! We really enjoyed ourselves at Happy Hour this past Friday and we hung around a little thereafter enjoying the music and energetic crowd! We’ll be back!

Wednesday night karaoke…or so I thought…we had to improvise.,, the drinks I ordered were not good and very overpriced.. my burger didn’t come with traditional toppings.. it had either aged or old cheese because it was hard.. the lettuce was spring mix used for salads and I assume they used grilled yellow peppers instead of onion…I was told that’s normally how they’re made but the menu didn’t state that…didn’t like the fact that it was mandatory coat check for me but I watched a few people come in with their coats on…the best part were the waffle fries, bathrooms were clean, and the comfortable chairs…other than that, nothing will make me go back

Recently, I went to Soul On Ice and enjoyed myself immensely for a private party. The valet service was perfect. The food and drinks were excellent. I appreciated security looking in my purse and frisking to ensure safety. Yes, the location is Livernois/Joy, but "WE" have allowed our neighborhoods to deteriorate. I commend the owner who stepped out on faith, believing that this is a start to revitalize this community. Soul on Ice is for the mature crowd. We need more investors to believe in the revitalization of Detroit. Please support Soul On Ice!
