Miserable is the word I would use to describe the staff at this location. Stopped in to order a Frappuccino after a flight. The woman taking orders gave me the impression that she would rather be doing anything other than taking orders at a Starbucks. She showed herself capable of friendliness and even smiling as witnessed when her friend stopped by after I ordered. While waiting an exorbitant length of time for my drink, I noticed that there were no straws. I asked another woman behind the counter for a straw and she pointed me to the empty container where the straws had been. She was visibly annoyed that I asked her to restock the container. Fortunately she was able to accomplish this task within the ten minutes that I waited for my drink. The one person of the three who was making drinks seemed overwhelmed by the task. To the owner; it may be hard to find staff, but I believe there are people more suited for a public facing job than these three ladies. They work in an international airport, and they might be the first local or American interaction that travellers have after their flight. Please raise your expectations of your staff or find people who are better suited for public service. I won’t patronize your location if this is the level of service that I can expect.

Didn’t like this Starbucks. First the friendliness could definitely improve. All you need is a smile and some politeness. Some of the comments to customers weren’t polite; I’m sure they felt bad for asking a question. Second the coffee, worst one I’ve had and it’s a staple Starbucks drink. I unfortunately ended up throwing mine out because I didn’t like it. So a waste of $7.I did give two stars because the wait was not bad. I’ll be back to Starbucks but not at DTW.

Made a mobile order and waited more than the ones that were in line. Ordered everything bagel warmed and Americano. Had to remind them twice that my flight was boarding. The baristas acted like I was asking something for free. They told me they don’t warm the bagels and it was a plain hard bagel which looked pretty old. I don’t understand why you put the stuff you can’t provide on the menu?? And then your staff gives the customers an attitude.

Absolutely terrible. 20 people in line and the person making the drinks was going at a snails pace. I would never go back here again, and I fly weekly.

It must be the slowest Starbucks ever and I flight through Detroit frequently. It doesn't get better doesn't matter what time of the day.

Crazy customer service. Arrogant people at customer service is horrible combination. Hopefully someone will fix it. Lady with hair band at mobile pickup station is busy cracking jokes, disturbing other people who are helping. Don’t know the point of having her.

Love me some good ol coffee and this Starbucks did not upset. They open super early which is great because we arrived at 6am for our flight and needed a little boost hahah... the line was pretty Ling but for sure kinda expected that. So besides the wait everything was really good. There are also a few more Starbucks spread throughout the airport.

Can't toast or microwave any food like a bagel, fine.... asked for banana bread... sorry we're out. Fine... went to pay with cash... sorry we can't currently take cash. This place is a joke.

This Starbucks is absolute trash. I have tried to come here every time I go to Detroit Airport but no longer. Workers are always cursing and joking around. They have messed up my drink EVERY time I am here. I usually never say anything but today I asked them to fix my drink and add cream and caramel drizzle. It stated it on the cup as well. She looked at me and said “You can fix it yourself” handed me a cup of half and half rolled her eyes and went back to work. I had to pour out my cold foam just to add the LITTLE cream she gave me. The cold foam is my favorite part. I have never seen such an unprofessional store in my LIFE.
