Visited my favorite Starter's in MIDTOWN for dinner with my friends on Sunday afternoon August 11, 2024. Food was DELICIOUS as usual. Waitress was very polite, etc. Great service - but come on with scanning to get alcoholic beverages, lol and a $1.00 for some more bread. The four of us ate the "three" pieces we were given. Don't go there if you are white and don't want to be heckled.
It was all good til I got targeted the umpteenth time and called a gentrifier. I grew up in the hood. We who fight the system tooth and nail coming up from nothing born and raised here don't need to be seen like these others moving in and pushing others out.
That said, I shouldn't have gone expecting more.
