I ordered 3 dinners of barbecue pig feet no barbecue on any of the pig feet the pig feet was tough as hell did not enjoy dinners at all the sides were okay spent 70 dollars it was not even worth it. Will not be back.

I ordered the half BBQ chicken, with sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. I was very disappointed. There was no skin on the chicken except for the wing. The mac and cheese and sweet potatoes were bland.

I was an original customer of the Grandriver location years ago. They started out great then it went down hill over the years, I believe he was shut down. When I heard he had moved to Southfield and downtown I was upset thinking they couldn't keep good food in the neighborhood where they made a lot of our money, his dad owned meat market across the street. I went to the downtown location today and everything was great! I had BBQ chicken, mac & cheese and cabbage. I just wish he could have stayed in the neighborhood where it all started.

I go to Steve's maybe 1-2 times a month because the soul food is good, fresh, and pretty affordable. The customer service is always amazing when I walk in. The lady who's always there is often patient, nice and always fun to talk to. Overall I think Steve's Soul Food is top tier‼
