It was an awful meal. I ordered the hummus, and there was a hair in it. They were shortstaffed. It appeared, and the server helping us wasn't rude, but she was very short and curt and forgot many things didn't want to answer any questions. We ordered a Doner and it was very dry and chewy. It was not a good meal. I probably won't be going back. They failed to fix any problem that we brought up. We've dyed here before in the past and had in enjoyable meals, but last night was just awful.
Fantastic appetizers and dinner. We had the hummus and lamb meatballs to start. Our dinners were the donner and the chicken paprikash. We also got the fries with sauces on the side. It was perhaps the best chicken dish I have ever eaten. The chicken melted in my mouth. This was our second time there, and we will definitely be back.
I know it was a busy night but coursing was awful. One main dish came literally 3 minutes after we ordered, and then we asked if there was a mistake or it was meant for another table and stating we'd like our apps first followed by our mains / sides, we just got a "well one station is backed up so we're just bringing stuff out as it's available". Then we got two more mains (burgers), a few minutes later our appetizer (dumplings), followed by our two side dishes, and finally the last main dish. They just seemed super unorganized and not operating like a normal kitchen should.
Amazing food, good service - friendly, offered to move us when sun was in our eyes. Deviled eggs, Persian Lime Soup and Lamb Beef Doner was so unique in flavor and delicious. Love the decor. Five stars for sure!
We stopped by for lunch the food and drinks were very good. An interesting blend of German and Turkish flavors. Would definitely return.

I feel sad writing this review as this place was one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit. I purposely chose this location for my birthday. I instantly got food poisoning that was so severe it lasted for days and I was sent to urgent care. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so sick from food before. I hope this was just a one time thing because I really enjoyed eating here. Instead I was given food poisoning for my birthday which resulted in me missing work and family gatherings.

Super creative preparations and fresh food. Delicious ! We will be back!! Highly recommended.
This place is awesome! The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. We had oysters, lutenitza, eggplant donar, and tres leche. Everything was an explosion of flavors and textures. I can't even tell what was the best because it was all so delicious in it's own way. I thought about the eggplant and lutentiza for days after eating it. I can't wait to go back!
So happy with our girls night at Supergeil. Great atmosphere, excellent food and drinks, and their team took extra care with my food allergy, which I was especially grateful for.
Bronzini, eggplant, chicken, hummus, potatoes, salads...all delicious!!! Just a few too many pickled green tomatoes on bronzini.

Sat at the bar and got some happy hour things and dessert. Everything was so good. The bartender is very bubbly and awesome. They definitely have some of the best meatballs ever. Very flavorful, tender with a little kick. The fizz cocktail was delicious, too

The hosts were sweet! The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Love the live plants! The chef was adorable, he brought us a couple plates. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. My only qualm was the server. She was really snarky with me for some reason and stayed way too long and talked way too much at the table. The entire group felt this as well.
They recently revamped the menu but it needs some editing. We ordered the Georgian spiced Bronzini-- NOWHERE on the menu does it say it's covered in walnuts. For people with allergies and sensitivities to nuts, that is an insane oversight. The waitress offered to have it remade, so thank you, but it's unacceptable. The burnt sugar tres leches had good flavor but was drowned in the caramel sauce and whipped cream, it ended up so sweet it was inedible. The cake is already soaked, so to drown it in a sauce that is also sweet just made the dish fight itself. It was disappointing because the cake itself is good. After having eaten from the old menu and now the new menu, I'm not sure about these changes.

Really good cheesesteak and hamburger for lunch. Really cool building. We will be back; can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
