takoi is a must whenever we're in the area. every dish is a delightful blend of flavor and texture with clearly labeled vegan options. dishes like their papaya salad can easily be veganized with the removal of fish sauce.
their ingredients are also sourced locally, making all the difference in the high quality and seasonal menu. no matter what, even vegetable mains manage to balance a creative twist on classic dishes. the service is also impeccable and happy to provide any reccomendations that suit your needs! don't forget the house-made coconut milk ice cream ;)

I came in really excited to try Takoi because of the strong reputation and reviews, and I wanted to enjoy it. The space itself is great — the atmosphere and overall vibe are very cool and well done. Unfortunately, the food was genuinely disappointing. This wasn't an issue of price, but of execution. The ribs were so dry that I had to spit them out because I couldn't chew them. That level of quality is simply unacceptable for any restaurant serving this style of food. The other dishes were not any better. The cocktails were good, and our waitress was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. While the ambiance and service were strong, the food itself fell far short of expectations. Based on this experience, I would not return.

Everything here was amazing! First the customer service was excellent the staff was welcoming and polite, the food is amazing I had ordered the Lad Na with roti bread and it was very tasty, and the ambience in this place is just the cherry on top. I am never the type of person to write reviews but I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I am truly fully satisfied!
