I just picked up my niece and went here for both our first time. The owner was so friendly and gave my niece a wonderful welcoming home from the military. The tamale were so good and brought me back memories of my own grandmother's when she was alive.

This place has been a staple not only in the community but also in my Family for Generation's
Born n raised in Southwest Detroit so this staple has been around forever. Fabulous that the quality, and flavor is still rocking it. Any of the tamales you get are out of this world. My favorite is the spicy pork,I got the pork this time still packed a ton of taste. The owner is funny and personable ,everyone is family kinda feel.

We saw a video about this place and we wanted to try the tamales. The place is in Mexican town Detroit, we tought you can eat there, but no… you only buy and go. We bought 6 tamales, red pork and beef. The tamales were delicious but small and tiny ☹️
