The greeter or concierge disposition was very negative. Overall the manager was very kind and provided great service to our party

Food is terrible and the price they charge for that buffet is over priced

My family and I came to The Breakfast Loft to celebrate my sister’s birthday yesterday and I was very pleased with the service and the food. I had a party of 20 and we were very well taken care of by the entire staff, but our server Naya was amazing, she was so attentive and very friendly! I enjoyed my experience and the birthday girl had a great time! We will definitely be back.

We visited from Ohio for a girls weekend. Woke up and googled black owned brunch spots in Detroit. Well this one got me at dj 💃🏽😆 We sat at the bar had shots before food. Our bartender/waitress was sincerely so informative and down to earth. All of the staff was kind. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was amazing 😍 yes it is buffet style but you can place orders from the kitchen in an all inclusive price. If you don’t have a big appetite this may might be the place for you because you may feel as though you wasted money. Besides that this place gets 5 stars from me and I will visit again.

The food was amazing and well seasoned. Yes, it is a buffet with a small menu for specialty items and a bar, but it does not taste like generic catered food. You can tell the food was made with love. This was my first time coming here and I was with a friend, the vibe is a Detroit Brunch party so come prepared to dance and do some karaoke.

It seems like all ages are welcome. There was a main event today for a birthday celebration, there was the older crowd coming in from church and there were children there (adolescent age) all enjoying themselves and the vibes.

The bar is also nice. I don't drink but we did sit at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly. The bathroom was also extremely clean! Will be returning with my homegirls in the future.

+++For parking, there's a gravel parking lot on the side of the building and street parking. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, so you take the elevator when you come in and go straight to your right.

Excellent food and experience! Dropping to 4 stars because of initial greeting by hostess as it was poor. However all other aspects were exceptional!

Excellent service. Waitress was attentive, gave suggestions and friendly. All the staff kept a smile on their faces. Kept the table clear of dirty plates.

We made reservations for a bridal brunch and our waitress was great! The basic breakfast food (French toast, bacon, eggs ect) was not good but the soul food (catfish, greens, Mac n cheese, ect) was very good !! They have made to order kitchen items included which is great , the sweet potato pancake was amazing ! Good atmosphere, music , staff overall enjoyed our experience
