We learned of the Breakfast Loft searhing for somewhere to eat downtown Detroit. Upon arrival, we learned seating was limited due to the crowd.. The host placed us at a booth that was reserved but she sat us there anyway (thumbs up to her). We were greeted by our waitress and advised us how the buffet is served because it was our first time there. She then proceeded to take our drink order and a order for the kitchen, shrimp and grits (for him). After getting our food from the buffet, we noticed who we thought was the manager working the floor, turned out she was the owner, Micha. We gave her kudos and congratulated her on a job well done with the Breakfast Loft. She was very thankful and grateful. We advised her we will be back with our family for a birthday celebration. She then gave me the email address to make the reservation. UPDATE to the 5 star review: I have since sent 2 different emails to make a reservation for our family to celebrate a 61st birthday. I have not received a response. I called and the person who answered the phone stated the owner would only respond if we could be accomodated. Why would't she respond if we COULD NOT be accomodated? The person on the phone literaly told me and I can't make this up "there is nothing I can do about that". What? Ok, then...The Breakfast Loft has just lost a ton of business. From one business owner to another, this is not the way you treat customers who WANT to bring you more business. I'm learning the hard way, we can NOT suport our own!

Excellent buffet wonderful staff great DJ. Fabulous atmosphere. Good drinks..Mimosas tower is a must do for large parties. Photo wall to remember your event. Pricey $$

First Time alert!! >>HAPPY BIRTH ANNIVERSARY RAY!!<<This was a vibe! The Dj was a female which I LOVE! The food is Buffet style, But! Was not your usual Buffet!! There was Hand sanitizers at the Start of lines.. & Eugene and Ms Quinn held it Down!!! They were 10of 10 EVERYTHING! was Fresh & Hot! We sat at the Bar, Nya was our bartender she was Extremely pleasant! There is auto 18% grat.. all in All this was a Nice spot & MY Must Try.

I had an amazing experience!! My first time there I went for a birthday and they served our group of 15 with no hiccups. The kitchen was ran with Love (All beautiful black women cooking on the line btw) Every staff member was professional and happy to be there.

The food is amazing, our waitress was awesome. The waiter kept coming to the table to make sure we had everything we need. We sat down fast and they told us our wait was 45 mins but we sat in 5 mins. The manager treated us with great service. I will be back here every weekend.
