Absolutely blown away. The atmosphere is perfect with the old church furniture / interior and the cathedral ceilings. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. We got the beet sandwich which was reasonably priced, a large portion size, and most importantly delicious.

Also - if you are a carrot cake lover like myself - the carrot cake chai tea latte was absolutely phenomenal. A must try!
I visited The Congregation three times during my work trip here in Detroit. It used to be a church and was remodeled into a coffee shop not too long ago. I had the turkey melt which was amazing as well as some of their drinks. Joshua recommended me the Devil’s Marg, which was his favorite. It was so good that I got it twice in the same sitting. Everyone here was kind and helpful, I’m grateful to the crew of the last night I was there especially, Joshua, Michael, Pio and Aiden...
This is my favorite coffee shop in the Windsor-Detroit area! Coffee is amazing with great variety of syrups and specials. Lunch items are always fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the veggie bagel the last time I was there.
Highly recommend for coffee, chill lunch or even remote work.
