Food is absolutely wonderful! We ordered a whole chicken and 4 sides—there was plenty to take home which was great. Feels like we were at the home of someone who really knows how to cook!

The Eagle is our go-to for pre or post events at LCA or Comerica. The food is excellent, service great, every time.

Everything was perfect. I am comparing this Eagle with the one in Cincinnati and Columbus. The same quality food and can't wait to come back.

By far was their brined chicken! It cooked perfectly and we didn't order enough! Will definitely be going back. Additionally, the price point was a grear value. It was a great moderate priced restaurant that accepted reservations. I especially like that since I live in the subburbs and travel a bit of a distance. Great experience!

When we walked in we were seated immediately. The food was was not good at all. Mac and cheese noodles was still hard, sweet potatoes were good, collards was tough and cold, manager brung more out more thy were still wrong, chicken was good, cornbread was good also. But I still left hungry. I wouldn't go back.

Shrimp & grits are always good as is the spoon bread. Some other dishes ( sweet potatoes for example and for me personally, the chicken can be cooked more. ) but that's my personal preference and not the fault of the restaurant. Cocktails were great!

Food is overpriced for no reason. Mediocre, the best thing was the spicy chicken dip which they don't give a hearty portion of.

We were so delighted we chose to go to The Eagle before a show. I have no complaints whatsoever. The prices were reasonable, the service was great as was the food. I had the BLT chicken sandwich and my friend had the shrimp and grits. We ate and still had plenty of time to make it to our show. I will definitely return to try other things.

Went for brunch with friends. Everything was delicious. Chicken was seasoned perfectly. Our food was served quickly. Very reasonably priced also. I will definitely be returning.

The chicken was excellent! We ordered almost every side with hush puppies and burnt end brisket bites. The greens are vinegar based- so that's just a note if you prefer it that way. My least favorite side was actually the Mac and cheese, it had an artificial cheese style sauce. My favorite side being the horseradish mash and homemade biscuits. The prices are unmatched! A family of four feed for about $150

Our server Mac and the manager Hunter were incredible! They were so kind, fast service, made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The food and drinks were fantastic and kitchen staff was super quick. Highly recommend The Eagle OTR!

Amazing food! We had the fried chicken, biscuits, collards and Mac n cheese. You will not be disappointed! I especially loved the collards - my son tried them for the first time and loved them!

Chicken was great. Biscuits were super hard and the Mac and cheese while very tasty, the noodles were undercooked.
