Me and my mother came by here a few weeks ago after a show late one night, and the service was impeccable! Not to mention the food!!! Have not had such authentic Greek food in a long time and was extremely impressed. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Our waitress, could not remember her name for the life of me, but she was an absolute pleasure and made the experience that much better! 10/10 recommend!

Its been 6 yrs since Ive been here and the atmosphere and decor has improved, but the food took a nose dive! Ive never had Avgolomeno soup thats not creamy, the skordalia was basically dried up potatoes, and the $20 marinated octopus, though very tender and tasty, only had 4 little chunks and the rest was peppers and greens. The saganaki was totally melted and watery. For 2 people @$79(no cocktails), food quality should be better. My server was very nice and I added $10 extra gratuity. The cooks need to look through Grandfathers recipe again.

This place has been here for decades. Remodeled. Good greek/Mediterranean food..not a huge menu but has the standards. Miss that basket of sliced greek bread every greektown restaurant used to put on the table when you sat down. Not even offered as an option to purchase from thr menu. Please visit greektown restaurants as the Monroe Street construction is surely hurting business (Oct 2024) Staff is great and attentive.

Came in with a large party on a Saturday night. Restaurant was busy and short-staffed. Our waiter, Daniel did a wonderful job in spite of this. Was friendly and apologetic about the wait. Wait was worth it! Everything was great. They were out of some things due to the busy night, but Daniel did a great job of suggesting alternatives. Will definitely be back next time in Detroit. Golden Fleece is a must stop every time we are in town.

We were seeking an authentic delicious Greek restaurant and were grateful when the neighboring bar recommended Golden Fleece.
Shared a horiatiki salad, lamb souvlaki and a bottle of wine. All delicious. Also took baklava home for dessert.
Service was also terrific.
Glad to find it as the street is currently ripped up for improvements to Detroit Greektown.
