Lindsey was amazing. She made my boyfriend from California feel welcomed. And now he wants to come back to Hudson Cafe Detroit every time he visits. He'll be back in March to eat churro French toast.
Great place to eat delicious food. Your order is served quickly. You can get great drinks as well.
This is not our first time going. We have enjoyed Hudson Café quite a few times. But we have to say, we enjoyed it very much. Our waitress was wonderful. She was very personable and was very helpful with menu. And the food is always good as well as enjoying the ambience. Definitely would go again.
This experience was exceptional. The food was out of this world. Crème Brûlée waffles were chef's kiss. Mimosas on point. Our server Daniel was the cherry on top. He made us feel welcome and took the best care of us. We will absolutely be back. We will be requesting Daniel as our server!!
Perfect location - in the Big D.... Everything about this place is enjoyable. Servers are knowledgeable about the menu and their recommendations were right on. A great value (quantity and quality of food top notch). And it's great to see it was busy-reservations required. Just watch what else in the city is going on for parking, allow a few minutes for parking.
My first time eating at The Hudson Cafe and I was pleasantly surprised. I was with a group of 17 total. Was able to make a reservation in advance, and tables were ready at requested time. Service was fast, friendly and food was delicious. Not always the case for large parties. Definitely recommend!
The Hudson Cafe in Detroit does have a great team. I celebrated my birthday over there with 16 people and they awesomely made it happen to a special event. The food was very delicious and the service excellent. A BIG THANK YOU.
We came here for a birthday celebration and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. • Even after clearly stating we had a party of 6, including two disabled guests, we were crammed into a four-top. Meanwhile, smaller parties with no reservation were seated at larger, more comfortable tables. • The food was overpriced and under-seasoned and definitely did not match the hype. • The most alarming issue: we were served RAW fried chicken. Not slightly undercooked—raw in the middle, which is a serious health and safety concern. • Despite the poor service and lack of accommodation, a large party gratuity was automatically added to our bill. This was supposed to be a joyful celebration, and instead we left uncomfortable, disappointed, and concerned. There are too many great restaurants in Detroit for this level of service and food quality. I hope management takes these issues seriously.
Great food, large diverse menu that can handle any appetite. Will truly be a stop for us on every trip.
Good food, friendly service, and a great vibe. The Hudson Salad is a must-try. Perfect brunch spot!

We had a super awesome waiter. I forget his name but he had spiked blond hair and tattoos and he was such on task. He was very attentive to all our needs. Highly suggest him for great service. Super nice too. The guy working the front door was also very nice and polite.
Goodbye always great and service too. I think everyone feels the same so if you want to get in, make a reservation because this place is busy. People just keep going back
Food was amazing! Service was amazing as well!

I had the Throwback Crepe. It was good. Everything was fresh. Just wanted a little bit more flavor, but overall it’s decent for those who like safer flavoring. The Toffee Coffee was yummy—could have had a bigger cup for that.

While in town, I checked Yelp/Open table for various restaurants and stumbled upon this place. I made a reservation for 1 PM, and we were seated by 1:10 PM. I'm glad I reserved, as the place was incredibly busy! The service was the fastest I've ever experienced. As soon as we sat down, the waitress brought water and took our drink order. Just 3-4 minutes later, she took our food order, and within 5 minutes, our meals were served. I ordered the salmon croquettes, and my husband chose the triple-thick bacon and sausage omelette. The presentation was impressive, but the salmon croquettes were cold. The potatoes were hot, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, tasting delicious as I'm not a big of eggs. My husband rated his omelette as a six out of ten. They need to ensure the salmon croquettes are hot, as their quick arrival suggests they're premade rather than freshly made. I would rate the salmon croquettes a four out of ten due to temperature and dryness. I also enjoyed a delicious mimosa. Additionally, it was my husband's birthday, and it when unnoticed and I place this in the noted when I made the reservation. As we was waiting for the table I noticed another table received a birthday dessert for there table, so a little disappointed! Please be aware the also didn't asked if we would like dessert!
