I went to this restaurant for the first and last time yesterday. I ordered the vegetarian plate. It was rice and beans, cabbage and plantains. The rice and beans tasted like bbq sauce. The cabbage was not seasoned. I didn't bother tasting the plantains. It was really disappointing.

Good food. Jerk chicken is nice and spicy, get stewed chicken if you don't want spicy. Chicken is cuts not whole pieces. Wanted oxtails but they're not on the online lunch menu.

Tacos were awesome..prob one of the best I've ever had.. took 30 min to get 3 tacos..atmosphere was small and not too clean..then also had someone in the small lobby selling drinks....nowhere to sit and wait on food..it was a lot going on and complaints coming in about the wait.

Beef Patty and plantains were on point! Jerk chicken, cabbage and rice not soo much. I will give them one more shot, as this is the 2nd disappointing visit.....Followup review...I have been back to Jamaican Pot numerous times, since my 1st review. Each time the service and the food are on point. I highly recommend giving them a try.

For the restaurant to be so small is too cluttered to be trying to sell stuff in there to be trying to sell things staff it's not being properly trained misleading customers then later approached by a rude manager black male with glasses heavy set with dreads. Not so approachable and it's not our fault that they're not properly training their employees. He was rude toward me but respectful. The atmosphere and staff needs an overhaul if someone needs to address the manager's attitude, toward his customers black and white.
Everything I have had from here is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!! The service is excellent, and the food is phenomenal. I will continue to support this fine establishment.
