I was a little hesitant to try this but my daughter talked me into it. Got there and tried a sample, which was good. Now, I’m super hungry and ready for my food. Ordered 3 dinners. Got home and my rice and beans were dry, the cabbage tastes like trash, and the plantains were not a favorite of mine so I won’t comment about it. Bugs flying around everywhere! Needless to say, they won’t get my money again! I’ve had Jamaican food before and it was the bomb!!! This place did not live up to the hype…

I had a large jerk oxtail the oxtails were small and fatty the cabbage was salty the beans and rice was good but I'm very disappointed 😔

This place use to have the best Jamaican food I've ever had nowadays the food taste like little kid's are preparing it I use to be able to call orders in they no longer accept call in orders curry chicken had no flavor stewed chicken had no flavor chicken patties were terrible only thing that tasted ok was the bbq chicken I will never visit this place again also the food portions has changed but the prices on there food didn't keep in mind you can't call your orders in and it's not the safest parking lot so be SAFE OUT THERE

So I like jamaican pot been coming here for years placing orders online & noticed today that online prices through chow now are like $5 higher than the menu price for a pickup order..I think that is ridiculous considering the fact that they don't take call in orders..CLEARLY GETTING OVER
Update..this is my $4 of jerk chicken that was 6 on chownow

Placed a online order. Headed to pick up and the order was canceled. ?
I went to this restaurant for the first and last time yesterday. I ordered the vegetarian plate. It was rice and beans, cabbage and plantains. The rice and beans tasted like bbq sauce. The cabbage was not seasoned. I didn't bother tasting the plantains. It was really disappointing.

Good food. Jerk chicken is nice and spicy, get stewed chicken if you don't want spicy. Chicken is cuts not whole pieces. Wanted oxtails but they're not on the online lunch menu.

Tacos were awesome..prob one of the best I've ever had.. took 30 min to get 3 tacos..atmosphere was small and not too clean..then also had someone in the small lobby selling drinks....nowhere to sit and wait on food..it was a lot going on and complaints coming in about the wait.

Beef Patty and plantains were on point! Jerk chicken, cabbage and rice not soo much. I will give them one more shot, as this is the 2nd disappointing visit.....Followup review...I have been back to Jamaican Pot numerous times, since my 1st review. Each time the service and the food are on point. I highly recommend giving them a try.
