This is my favorite bar in Detroit. The first time my partner and I went in, we didn't know anybody and there was a sense of an established community. It can be intimidating entering such an atmosphere, but the owners made us feel more than welcome and included us in conversations and even introduced us to their friends. Now, three years later, there are very few places that I feel more important than I do at the Lex. It's always fun, everyone is super nice, the staff is great, the drink selection is great. I cannot say enough about this place.
