Wow! Where to start….first I wasn’t expecting such an awesome menu with good eats, and the portions were huge! Our server Farah was one of a kind! She greeted us with a huge smile on her face, made us feel welcomed and took spectacular care of my mom and I while we celebrated my mother’s birthday. I can honestly say she provided the best service I’ve ever had! You will definitely have leftovers, I don’t think I saw a table around us leave without a carry out bag. What an unexpected gem that I will certainly be coming back to.

My girlfriend Katy and I went here this weekend 1/18/26 for our first time. We’ve been to motor city casino hotel many times but never tried this restaurant. Our waitress Farrah was incredible and the embodiment of a great waitress, She made our experience amazing and had great recommendations from the menu. She knew her stuff. I had the gumbo from her recommendation which I’ve never tried before and it was great, Truly loved it.
My girlfriend Katy loved her burger and fried as well, She said it was fantastic and this is our new food spot when we come to the casino.
I couldn’t believe or even bother to read the bad review left for Farrah after what a great experience we had with her. My buddy’s mom was a waitress for 30 years, Farrah reminds me of her. Just a great attitude and soul!

The review for Farrah must be from her family! She was rude and condescending. Farrah was oddly argumentative and unprofessional towards my husband and I. We waited a considerably long time just to place a carry out order. When I eventually walked up to the ladies to ask if I could place an order, (who weren’t doing anything but laughing amongst themselves) she facetiously told me to go sit down and someone would be there. Her smirk let me know I wouldn’t be receiving a desired experience. Meanwhile I’m thinking… Ma’am we’ve been sitting for at least ten minutes and no one has come over to greet us or take our order and you’re not even busy. That’s why I decided to approach politely. I was giving grace thinking maybe they just didn’t see us. Nevertheless, I took my seat as instructed. Eventually, she came over and I told her I wanted to place an order to go. Farrah goes, “well it’s a 17% gratuity for carry out”. I didn’t want to give her obnoxious behind a single penny after that smug encounter, so I said fine we’ll eat here. I was thinking I’d get a server instead of her. Why did she make me place the order with her?? Like lady, leave me alone. Several minutes goes by before I realize that Farrah never put our order in the pos. I know because I asked one of the cooks to look at the tickets just to make sure she put my order in and just like I suspected, she didn’t. What a miserable woman… I just ended up leaving, but not before I asked her name to leave this review. She angrily yelled out the spelling and said she didn’t care if I left a review. Imo, Farrah is a horrible person with the mindset of a toddler and the inability to remain professional at her place of employment. People like her shouldn’t be allowed to mingle with patrons. Put her in the back where the public won’t be bothered by unpleasantries. I find it bizarre that these employees can talk to paying customers this way and still keep their job.

I was with a party of 15 on Saturday morning November 29th..The food was great.the server was great in spite of the fact that some of the party of 15 arrived late. ( sorry) The lady at the front who took our seating requests was so nice..Thanks to the people who had to arrange the tables and chairs to accomadate us. I commend rhe chefs who did all the cooking..I plan to revisit on some weekend during the Christmas Holidays..Thank all of you so much.

I ordered the turkey leg dinner, but it was not good. My food was not hot, the turkey leg was not seasoned and it was tough to chew. My server asked me how was the food and I told her that it was not good, but she did not offer to give me something else. No worries, I will not eat there again. AWFUL . . . !!!!!!!

The staff is friendly, but can be a little slow if there is a crowd. Prices are about what you'd expect for a venue like this.
It would be nice if high-top tables were available (for those of us with leg issues), but there is countertop service if you are okay with 1950's style dining.
