I would provide a more detailed review of my dinner at The Statler if I had actually had the opportunity to eat there. The Joe Vicari Restaurant Group whimsically closed the restaurant the week before I was to dine there. They never bothered to tell Open Table, evidently, as Open Table sent me this survey. I had heard rumors of the closing and called the restaurant. I left a voicemail questioning the viability of my reservation and requested a returned call to let me know one way or the other. They never had the decency to pick up the phone and call back. So, if I had indeed driven the hour to get to the restaurant, we would have been met with a shuttered door. That just sucks. So here is my message to Joe Vicari and Joe Vicari Restaurant Group: Have the GD decency to show a modicum of respect to those who have supported The Statler in the past and who might want to continue supporting your restaurants in the future. It sure as hell won't be me.
The Statler closed 2 days ago. We found out when we went to eat there. Had to make alternate dinner plans. Hopefully they reopen.
Made reservation month and half ahead and then 1 hour before we were to arrive we found out the restaurant had been closed. The only way we found out I was looking for the menu on-line and was told the Restaurant had closed. Not sure why I wasn't notified beforehand by both Open table and Restaurant.
Disgusted with Open Table and Statler!! The restaurant closed and no one was notified!! I wonder how many people went to a locked door with reservations for dinner?! Shame on you both Statler and OPEN TABLE!!
Ridiculous customer service. I had a reservation for 7:00pm and they called me from the restaurant stating that they didn't get any customers from 4:30 and the chef wants to leave. They said that the kitchen is closing at 6:30 and I have to be there before that time. Stupid management worst experience ever. Deserves zero stars.
Food was excellent as was the service. My husband had the special which was a New York Steak and I had the short rib dinner. Both came with garlic mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Had to pass on dessert, meal was substantial. Great atmosphere.
The Statler gets a 10 star, everything was perfect. Very welcoming environment. All the staff was very nice, the food was excellent, the drinks were mixed well. The best lamb chops hands down. Free parking under the restaurant for early diners. We will definitely be going back.

Just a food issue. It was meh. Overpriced for average under-seasoned food. Service was great. Server was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Food was average. Sorry.
This was our first visit and our group dined prior to a concert. From the fresh unique bread, to the artichoke appetizer, to the seared salmon with pea risotto, and finishing with the crème brûlée, everything was DELICIOUS! The table staff attentiveness was both professional and friendly. The managers stopped by to see how the dinner was going showing a level of care for our experience. Highly recommended! Will definitely go back!
The Statler is really cool. Food and service are all high-end but prices are really reasonable and it's not fussy or pretentious. A sweet spot.
Good food, good service, was surprised to see the restaurant not packed at all, went on a Saturday and it was kind of empty, I liked it though, I hate places that are way too busy, this place was good will definitely come again, great food and great people
We had a fantastic brunch at The Statler. The shrimp and oysters, the Short Rib Bordelaise, the chocolate croissant, the capacinno, and the mocktails were delicious. The service was professional, and we didn't feel hurried. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will be back to try the dinner menu.
