I went to celebrate my 40th birthday with some fam and friends and from the beginning I didn’t feel welcomed. There was nobody at the front to greet you even though there was a podium. Workers kept walking past us and no acknowledgment for what seemed like at least 5mins, until one of the waitress stopped what she was doing to ask me if I had a reservation. That same person ended up being our waitress and I was happy with that. She was the most professional and helpful person we encountered. The person she sent back to the front, a lady dressed in street clothes with a white towel wrapped around her jeans (which did not follow the so called dress code they have online) She did not look professional/upscale at all. Originally we booked for 10 but only had 6 coming, I was trying to explain that to the so called hostess but she didn’t understand me or maybe couldn’t hear me but either way gave major attitude . At that point I was ready to leave the establishment but calmed down and took my seat when we were given one. Another one of my guests arrived and was given the same cold welcome by the same lady up front, and then again a lil later it happened to my sister who had actually made the reservation for me. We spent at least collectively a total of 300 plus. Not to mention the hostess came over to our table at one point and took the two menus we had without even asking if we were finished. Just snatched them up and gave them to someone else’s table. Again another thing that made us feel unwelcome in the establishment. 15 minutes away from us leaving the hostess leaned over to us and basically said we were at our 3 hour limit. The kicker was nobody seemed to be waiting for a seat and little did she know we were only a few minutes from leaving because the music choices were horrible. They played mostly slow/ old school 70’s and 80’s hits with a splash of early 2010-2024 hits. They really need to get a better set list. It was also never addressed by anyone that there was a limit on reservation seating, they need a whole customer service makeover. I will never recommend this place to anyone, high prices and bad customer service by the hostess is not worth another visit to this place. I’m really disappointed to also find out it’s black owned, I’d expect to be treated better by my own people. What a shame… do better!

At Vinyl Society now @6:34pm. Hostess lady with white shirt and scarf. Our first time here very rude and unprofessional we didn't know every booth was reserved. Customer service is everything .Being nice and kind dont cost a thing. My last time here with me and my friends. Hospitality was terrible. Drinks very high!!! $28 for DonJulio really!!!

The management is full of crap as they don’t inform their wait staff that drinks and food are not on happy hour from 5-8pm but only drinks. I went here for an event and the waitress told me everything is on happy hour from 5-8pm in terms of food except lamb chops and all drinks on the first page as well as beer and wine is on happy hour but when I got my bill that wasn’t the case. They charged me full price for everything. It was only until I contested things that they gave me a discount on my 2 drinks but not on my wines and the sliders I ordered. This is the problem with businesses and the communication given. I definitely don’t encourage anyone to come to happy hour if they charging full price for food and drinks as neither are worth the price of $18 plus from 5-8pm. Management didn’t come over to explain things and lift it to the waitress who is simply trying to do the best she can to get a tip.

Very nice place to hang out, grab a bite and a couple of drinks. The DJ was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I would mention her name if I could remember it! The pricing is in line with similar places downtown. The atmosphere was nice/lively. The crowd was mostly dressed nicely. No hoodies, Timbs, sweats, etc. If you wear jeans ladies, jazz them up. Where a nice button up or sweater and a blazer with them for the fellas. I enjoyed my evening there. I plan to visit again.

I had a party for my best friend last Friday, I only booked for 15, we exceeded the guest count by far but the service did not suffer. The atmosphere was so nice and everyone took very good care of my party. They were very attentive and made the space work. Because they weren’t prepared they may have been understaffed, but if they were we never recognized it because they exceeded all expectations!

Wednesday nights they have the most amazing lineup of live DJs and musicians! I saw Kasan Belgrave and his sextet last week and I really felt like I was back in Paradise Valley during its hay day! Total vibe and I will definitely be hitting it on those nights.

The only thing I can say is that the service was food and the (whom i presume to be the) owner was very friendly. He came outside to chat with our group, but started if asking if we were alright/needed anything since we were standing a bit to the side of the entrance. Then he chatted with us for a bit and helped with local recommendations.

Beautiful bar with a lot of potential to do well in the city. The decor and music gives an upscale, fun atmosphere. Extremely clean, which I love. They offer both indoor and patio seating and you do have a server that comes to you rather than having to go to the bar. Has a nice variety of drinks and food, but service was rather slow for what seemed to be a quiet Saturday night. We did meet the owner who was incredibly kind and hospitable. If you are looking for a classy (but not stuffy) place to have a cocktail with friends, where you can dance and have a bite to eat without having to deal with the crowded bustle off rowdy young 20 somethings, this is a wonderful spot to come to.
