I hosted a work reception for 35 people and Whisky Parlor was the perfect choice. The appetizer menu is large and varied, and the food was delicious. The bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable and they took great care of our group. The drinks were fresh and delicious and staff were incredibly attentive to our needs.
The space itself is fantastic, with kind of a modern urban warehouse vibe, with exposed brick and great woodwork. It's spacious enough to hold a large group and it's set with several groupings of both hard and soft furniture that makes it easy to gather in smaller groups. A huge bonus is that it's a private space on the 2nd floor and it has it's own private entrance off the street.
I highly recommend Whisky Parlor for special occasions, or just a great spot to hang out with friends.

Great place. Keep an eye on extra charges, such as the credit card fee and additional service fees.

The Whisky Parlor was Great and will return.
Cozy place with an exceptional selections of bourbon and whisky. Staff was really nice and engage with our party of 10.
Excellent happy hour with cute seating options.
Very nice place to sit and have a drink. Exceptional.
Rudest waitress I’ve ever had. When someone asked for a lime instead of a lemon, she threw the lemon across the bar. She made it clear our money was not welcome.
Nice social place for adults.
Great service and prices.
Came from out of town. Went in with legit KY licenses. They wouldn't accept our IDs. Almost confiscated them too...
Dont go here if you have an out of state ID
They will turn you away if it "doesnt match their book"
Neat, chill spot that's kind of hidden with great cocktails but expensive whiskey prices

I had a goooood afternoon here. I suggest you visit.
One of the worst places in Detroit, staff was very unwelcoming. Drinks were messed up multiple times and they did not seem to care
