I’ve been trying to find good Chinese food for a few years now. I live downtown on Jefferson and I don’t like the 2 located near Belle Isle.
I only ordered shrimp fried rice because I didn’t want to be disappointed.
My fried rice was perfect. The rice was a tad bit chewy but it had a great flavor which tells me it was made in a well seasoned wok. The shrimp actually had a little flavor to them. Most places the shrimp just taste boiled. I love egg foo young so I’ll be back to try that next time

So I’m not very brave when it comes to trying new Chinese restaurants(sorry if that sounds bad) but after ordering from here twice and having good experiences both times I figured they deserve a positive review and recommendation. I love all the different combinations and options the menu offers and the prices are definitely reasonable especially for being on Woodward. They also use fresh ingredients and white meat chicken which is a deal breaker if not!! Another thing to mention is they give you a very good portion for what you pay for.

One of the better Chinese places in Midtown/Downtown. Generals chicken and Lo Mein are their best dishes. The fried rice is a bit inconsistent, sometimes it's great sometimes it's overcooked. Service is always quick and friendly. The fact that you can order online is really convenient for the downtown area!
