Pros: Customer service Is excellent Great portion sizing for the plates The Sorrell is amazing! The oxtail is tender
Cons: As a Jamaican I’m saddened. First off I ordered a brown stew and oxtail and was provided a jerk chicken and oxtail. The jerk chicken was good and flavored but not what I ordered. The oxtail was tender but just that the flavor is indescribable because it almost taste like old meat with no flavoring. I spent 42 and I can’t even eat my food. Tap into @Biggzzkitchen on IG. Went with my friend while visiting Detroit. We ordered, jerk Chicken, oxtails, and curry goat with sorel, and ginger juice. Overall, It's a nice place the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was nice and hot. It was comforting given that the weather was cold while we were there. I would recommend you to try it. Be mindful, there isn't a lot of space for sitting and dinning in, however it was clean and good enough for 4 - 10 people. I would visit again if I am Detroit.
Ordered Oxtails that were so tender and tasty. My son had the jerk chicken that he said was very delicious. We'll be ordering from here again, very soon. I'm so stuffed right now. 😁

Very mild and unexciting for a curry, the mac & cheese had more flavor but pitiful portion for $6
The side of plantains was three little slices. The side of peas and vegetables was literally TWO PEAS in a bed of mushy cabbage.

I ordered the Oxtail Dinner with peas and rice with cabbage. The food was excellent and very tasty. The oxtail's were really tender and seasoned. I would recommend this restaurant... Go and try it out... I will be returning back.

Omg idk how to put this into words but the large oxtail plate i ordered was indeed LARGE. I loved everything I got everything is seasoned well and juicy. They have oxtails the size of my HAND!!! Curry chicken was off the chain !!

Came in to buy a lb of jerk chicken and OBVIOUSLY he didn’t have enough and literally cut a thigh in half added chicken wings ughhh and still charged full price for that smh never again
