Fabulous staff!!!
If you love boba, ice cream, and chips from a different place. Go here! It's a bit small and can get crowded
Gotta fruit tea it was kinda bitter but it still was good
Great customer service. They have a variety of Asian snacks and candy. The drinks were delicious.
El mejor te boba DEL MUNDO (the best boba tea in the world) thanks for the attention and for the delicious flavors 🩵
black tea with milk cap was ok. boba was wayyyy over cooked, it was like melting in my mouth(not in a good way)
This is hands-down one of the best spots for bubble tea in Metro Detroit. Tou & Mai doesn’t just serve drinks—it serves an experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the attached Asian mini market is a delightful bonus. From classic Japanese ice cream to rare candies and ramen, there’s more than just boba here.
The drinks are flavorful, perfectly balanced, and made with obvious care. My Thai Milk Tea with boba was rich and not overly sweet—a major plus. If you’re looking for a place to chill, study, or go on a casual date, this is your spot. The vibe, quality, and cultural richness are unmatched.
🧋 Must Try: Thai Milk Tea with Boba + Japanese Ice Cream
The tea is just delicious 😋
Best Boba in Detroit. Forreal. Have tried a lot of them. This is the best. All of the creations are great. And it has a cute lil market attached to it.
Really like the sweet drinks from here. Super tasty molasses milk. They also have some tasty snacks. Don’t live in the D, but I get a drink here on each trip.

The drinks here are so unique and taste amazing!
I’m not sure why this place is so popular, but as someone who has tried many boba shops, the milk teas here are not good. I’ve been here on multiple occasions, and each time I order any of the milk teas they turn out super watery and lack substantial tea flavor. The boba is also pretty hard and has no flavor. Today I ordered a Thai tea and asked for it to be half sweet. When I was handed my drink, my Thai tea was super light orange, when it’s supposed to be very bright orange. It basically tasted like milk. I went back and asked the worker if he could remake it for me at 100% sweetness, which he kindly did, but it still came out pretty watery. With that being said, I probably won’t come back here again for any of the milk teas.
Boba isn't fully cooked on the inside
For one of the only boba tea places close to where I live the tea is good, and the staff is very friendly and nice. Unfortunately where they lack is on updating customers on what they are out of stock on and when they are closed. Last time I had gone, I paid for two teas with a certain topping only for them to tell me after they were out of said topping. I didn't want any other kind but I still ended up paying the 2$ which was frustrating. I went over there again recently as it said they were open online but they were closed when I got there so their hours are not always accurate.
Best boba I’ve ever had and the cashier was the SWEETEST lady!
