Unexpectedly stumbled upon this place after having dinner in the Cass Corridor. The weather was nice and they had a patio, so we said screw it, let's grab a drink and sit outside.The bartender was hilarious and very attentive. The drinks were strong, beer was cold and the prices were cheap. We had tickets to the DSO and got stuck in traffic (accidents in construction) so we had to rush through our delicious choices of lobster Mac and cheese, dragon eggs, and calamari. But we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Great server! Quick and so friendly! Food was fabulous.
A bit noisy, but what bar eatery isn't ion the hub-bub environment where the action is located. i love this spot for the foodie in me and when on the run. it is a terrific place for local and others with easy access in and out with parking lot next door. You can't go wrong grabbing a burger or other "de-lish" while in the city! Union Street is a great old fashion pub with a large menu filled with variety.
