The Rib tips tasted like freezer and were missing BBQ sauce. They ran out of green beans instead of telling us, they didn't add it to my order. Called three times and three different times, they let the phone ring about ten times, then hung up. They fixed the order but it said they we can't patronize with one another without receiving bad customer service.

I don’t even know where to start but let’s talk about this wing. Feathers still on it. Hair pokin’ through the skin. Why am I pulling quills off my food like I’m plucking a bird on a farm? Then I thought maybe the sides would save the plate. The mac and cheese was an afterthought bland, watery, and clearly made with zero love. The collard greens? A soggy mess. No seasoning, no depth, just boiled leaves that tasted like tap water and disappointment. This meal was a waste of money and mouth space. Detroit has way too many solid food spots for this kind of culinary disrespect. The only thing “Uptown” about this place is the price because the quality was somewhere deep in the basement.

If you want real beef do not purchase from this restaurant they will give you fraudulent food and call it something else give you what you did not order with small portions and high prices with bad attitudes they act like they had a attitude to refund or fix my order. I would give a lower rating if I could. Don't waste your money. 35 dollars for one person meal . No dining in at all no seating for waiting customers .... Just bottom of barrel

I made the mistake of not planning for the holiday so we decided to get ribs from uptown 😋 and everybody else also. 1hour wait time then sold out!!! Lesson learned..... order early.
