This was the nastiest ramen I've ever had in my life. Everything was bland, watered down, and for their prices it was NOT worth it. The bowls were dirty, there were bugs flying everywhere, the water cups were dirty, the water and ice were foggy and had a weird film on it. I couldn't even take a full sip of the ramen from how gross it was. The staff were extremely slow to take our order. They were just odd and they brought out the food a little too fast. I do not recommend coming to this place whatsoever. We didn't even finish our meals, we got the bill and left and went to another ramen place because we were still hungry. It was unbelievable!

The food here pre pandemic was to die for. The quality has seemed to gone downhill since. I will recommend the pork belly ramen.

For 14.5 a bowl of ramen, you would not expect tables with food scraps, broth with minimal/none flavor, and noodles to be still stuck together in a block and barely two mouthful of chicken. Staff was friendly but it was def not worth the price.

Super cozy Ramen place downtown. They only have 3 options (chicken, pork, and vegan) so don't expect a huge menu. We got 1 chicken and 1 vegan, and they were AMAZING. Best ramen ive ever had. 10/10 will be returning here.Restaurant is not super big, so seating is limited (i think there was maybe 5-6 tables total). However, this was not an issue as it seems that most of their business is to-go and not dine in. We were able to get seating immediately at 6/7pm on a friday night. Staff was super nice. I also like that they had actual music playing and not the boring elevator music played in most restaurants.

Finally got to eat here again due to random closings and whatnot. Was so sadly disappointed. Anyone here remember Urban Ramen around like 2019? Completely different now. Chicken is salty, different texture, different flavor. The broth is completely different, thin and bland. It was AMAZING before. It doesn't even compare now. Anyone know what happened to the recipe or did they lose their top chef or what? I thought I was imagining it, but see that so many recent reviews say the same!

This restaurant used to be my favorite place for ramen, but we had to avoid it in the past year+ because the food just wasn't the same anymore. I saw the maps update from the owner inviting people to give Urban Ramen another try and got really excited, so we placed an order.Unfortunately, we couldn't eat, both of our broths (paitan, tonkotsu) were a dark brown color and tasted very bitter, something went very wrong in the kitchen, it was kind of bizarre.I tried calling back the restaurant to try and get a refund or have them re-make the order another time, but they turned their phone off, so here we are, stuck with two bowl of unknown brew.Giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because I really hope it can recover and do better, as I said before, I used to love this restaurant, but something very strange is going on even after the supposed management fix.

Can't be a fair rating right now because they had lost power earlier in the week and had a very very limited menu. Pork ramen was still delicious after I added some of their spicy oil. Nothing to drink but water, Sprite and diet Coke.

Update: I got a quick response which I appreciate. Read below. First review: I love this place but I'm frustrated with their DoorDash and Google map marked on closed. I just ordered at the spot. They forgot to put in any meat. I specifically said I want pork belly. The egg and broth is also cold. COVID burdens!

It's so different now. In my memory, this is a fabulous ramen place, and was totally a wow experience last time. But this time, it was so underwhelming... I know vegan ramen is more difficult to make it super tasty, espeically with clear broth. But last time when I was here, I was totally impressed by their version of vegan ramen. Now it tastes entirely different. The broth tastes like water with soy sauce, not other flavor, but too salty. They put cold, no flavor added tofu in there, and probably only 2 pieces. This level of ramen doesn't deverse $15 a bowl. They seem to be short on staff too. While there is a sign of "wait to be seated", they don't have staff to cover the door all the time, and expect you to sit yourselve. Probably won't come back to this place...

My noodles were not done in both of my meals which is crazy enough but the wait was over 40 mins plus one of the meals broth wasn’t even seasoned worst 30 spent ever ?

First time I wanted to go, online it said they were closed on fridays, but then magically it said it was opens. I was downtown so I called to confirm and someone said they were indeed opening up. It was almost 7pm, so I thought, odd, is it even worth it from a sales point of view? Also, having Friday nights as your day to be closed was strange, why wouldn't you want the business? So I drove around waiting for them to open, I saw someone inside but didn't see all the lights on. I was starving so I said forget this and went somewhere else. I drove by later and they were closed. During the following week I had a chance to read all these negative reviews. Despite them I decided I would still try it out and feel out the vibe. I was able to stop in two weeks later and walked right out. It was 5 pm, and the manager lady or whoever was handling hosting, carry outs, door dash or whatever. It just didn't feel very inviting and I overheard her complaining about people that complaining about her! Plus the whole restaurant smelled like a bad bathroom and I'm like I'm not wasting my time on this place. They literally have only three ramen bowls.

Urban ramen... wth happened to you?? What's up with the chicken ? It used to be so good and always got me to come back... really upsetting that you keep changing the recipe. Stick with the original one that made people fall in love with your ramen!

IM SAD. I still CRAVE 2019 Urban Ramen and in 2021 the place is virtually non existent. I've walked from campus (small hike) after checking their hours (which are different on ALL sites) and it be CLOSED virtually every time. I've gotten in once said Covid and the noodles and broth were much thinner. Tasted like a completely different recipe. I heard every table in the restaurant complaining about it. This place has never been good at wiping the back walls off either where the bar stools are (ramen is messy u know?). I want this place to do better!! Go back to normal hours get a full staff in there who's doing it every day and get back to business!! Now I settle for Ima and order their udon noodles in the spicy ramen up the block.

Tried to go here at 5pm on a Monday and they were closed with no sign on the door. Their website says they're open too.

We love Urban Ramen. I had lunch there today and ordered 3 more noodles to bring home. Unfortunately, the lid was not closed properly and it spilled all over, what a shame...
