Nice spot, friendly service, shaded outdoor seating. The shawarma roll was very tasty. The mushroom pastry was crisp but a little lacking in flavor. The filling in the plum turnover wasn't my favorite but, again, the pastry was good. Overall , a solid choice. I would definitely come back to try other items.

Such a fan of Ms. Warda Pâtisserie! I recall them next to Collect in Eastern Market way back then and am so impressed with all her amazing and delicious success!

Spent Sunday afternoon at Warda’s second location. Relaxing almost spiritual atmosphere, fabulous Mochas, and delicious pastries. I had a cherry pastry that was buttery and tart, and my daughter had a lattice pastry filled with spinach; this was a tad too spinach forward as we thought it needed something to mellow the pungent flavor of the greens. I brought home a blueberry almond frangiapanne tart- can’t wait to try it.

Beautiful desserts.
Enjoyed super cute delicious financier. I loved its solid enough and also soft enough texture, well equipped with charming flavor in itself + topped with extra jam or cream. Given great quality of the financier, I would love to try other things here if next chance.
Super fun pastry shop/coffee shop. A lot of interesting baked goods you don’t really find anywhere else.
The person was super helpful and patient as we looked at every little thing 😂.
Coffee was good. Fiancé really liked her tea.
Definitely gotta come back and try more!
Small pastry shops like this evoke and closely mirror the myriad you'd find throughout the EU. Even the general layout with sidewalk chairs. Compared to average NA pastries, these tend to be lighter, less sweet, and place a greater focus on subtle taste signatures.
I was quite pleased even with their drip coffee (IMHO better than some bespoke pour overs), which hard a strong, freshly roasted pour over taste signature. My wife enjoyed a tasty Cortado as well. It’s nice seeing baristas still creating artistic swirls as an end note.
The cafe itself is small and seating is geared towards 1-2 only. It’s not really conducive for laptops and general work. It reminds me a lot of a Berlin or Paris cafe where the focus is to relax, watch people, and enjoy coffee & treats.
Take a gander, you’ll likely find something to make you smile.
Great service and even better patisserie!
Like it a lot. Very authentic and fine patisseries.
Thanks !
This little gem totally earns its reputation as a premium bakery. Go here, thank me later

No need to travel all the way to Paris for a true patisserie experience as the staff at Warda delivers. Beautiful handmade, delicate sweets almost too attractive to eat with an orchestra of flavors and excellent coffee. Be sure to take home some of their chocolate Halwa cookies to snack on later. Surprise bite was a mango cheesecake so light and airy, more like a mousse texture and a passion fruit tart. Formidable. 10/10
Absolutely divine. World-class pastry and savory breakfast treats for locals in Detroit. It doesn't get better, you have to visit if you are a food lover.

The pastries are amazing. I live in Ohio and we make sure if we go to Detroit we stop in and take some things to go.

Excellent little Pâtisserie. There wasn't a very large selection when I visited, but it all looked amazing. I had the chocolate flan . I took home the lemon tart and the mousse. They too were excellent. The mousse tasted very much like what I had while in Paris.
The staff was friendly and attentive as well.
