Tried four businesses within the hall. All except for ice cream place took a long time, some had fees for using credit cards. Hibachi and ice cream place tasted good, rib tips at bbq place were way too dry and egg roll place was out of a lot of stuff and the one egg roll was overstuffed with rice. Bbq place also had beepers that wouldn’t even let you go around the corner, meaning you had to wait next to them and their beepers are not suitable for the location they’re using. And there wasn’t a lot of seating for those that would like to eat on location.

I’m a big supporter of black owned business and enjoyed support from my people when I owned one. I haven’t tried the food here but the amount of trash customers throw out of their cars onto the streets neighboring the business is just heartbreaking. It would be nice if our people would support and show respect for both the business and its neighbors, the people who live here and remain here after the customers , staff and owners go home. We can do better and show pride for our city, its businesses and its neighborhoods.

This is a very neat concept and I'm happy to see and support black businesses in black neighborhoods in Detroit. You can dine in or get your order to go like most people. Customer service was great at the two establishment I dined at. I ordered a chicken and waffles dinner from A Taste of Heaven. I don't fried food at home so going out and having some really good fried chicken is a treat. I enjoyed my meal from here. The only downside was my potatoes were overly salted and had too much butter in them. They had good flavor but I couldn't finish them. I like how they be vented my carry out order by poking holes in the top so the food could stay crispy. I got a few desserts from the Life Iz Sweets counter. I really enjoyed the key lime cupcake. It was very tasty but on the small size for a cupcake that was $5. Would I buy it again? Yeah, it was really good! I'd definitely come back here to try other vendors. Hopefully, they will expand to the available space next door. I'd like to see more healthy food options though. A salad bar or vegan/vegetarian restaurant would be great. I can't wait to come back. Parking sucks so beware of that but it's definitely worth a visit or 2 or 3...

I stopped in and decided to get some wings from here and they were very good but I did notice that the menu was limited compared to another location. I planned to get a sub too but they didn't have that or burgers on the menu. Not sure if they plan on adding more items to the menu at a later date but it was still worth the trip.
