Good, though for us was not up to the reputation. Best part was ambiance - lovely. Our server was super nice. Cocktails were a hit. Main food was good. Slightly small portions than expected. Dessert was a definite disappointment. Avoid the pineapple cake. Like really avoid it.

We had another great dinner here. Was lucky to catch the monthly special. The Black Garlic oil Tonkotsu soup was fantastic. Try it before the month is over! Also the Saki Sangria drink was great. Jenny the Manager made sure everything was perfect. Caitlyn our server did a great job for us.

Great food, plenty of gluten free options and spectacular cocktails!Dietary restrictions: The server was very informative about the gluten free options and there were plenty of options.

This was an average dining experience - I don't think this restaurant is worth a special trip. The sliders and churro were awesome and the highlights of the meal. The root vegetable salad was way underseasoned and not that interesting - it had the potential to be bright and acidic and punchy but it was just tame and boring. The hash brown was overly vinergary and didn't really taste like potatoes, though the chive sour cream was yummy. The mushroom and sunflower sides with the walu were so so tasty, and the walu was perfectly cooked, but they didn't seem to go together well, so it felt like eating 2 different dishes. Service was good and the ambiance is lovely.

The food was incredible. It's always changing, so it'll be full of fresh items that the chef sources. We loved our server and the vibe is so cool in there. It's a fun, sexy date spot but could also be a casual place to grab a drink with a coworker. Definitely will be back.

This place is super vibey. It is industrial but sleek. There’s exposed brick and super cool ceilings. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were seated in a cool booth. The service was amazing where my water glass was never empty. We were well taken care of. The drinks were extraordinary. My husband loved both of his mocktails. They were legit mocktails with non alcoholic spirits which was nice to see. I had the down in Mexico and desert sun. Both were super balanced and flavorful. I love the use of mezcal. The food we got was mixed. Some plates were great and others were not as good.Pork belly sliders: these were so tasty! The pork belly was crispy, the bun was toasted perfectly, and I loved the heat from the sriracha. The lump crab and lobster toast: it was seasoned well and the bread was toasted nicely. It was not worth $30 for the amount of seafood you received. We had maybe 3 tiny pieces of lobster.Ricotta churro: this was so rich and decadent. There was way too much of it, but I liked the pepper to cut the richness. It needed something else to cut the fat.The leg of lamb: this was disappointing. The lamb was so dry and flavorless. It was super tough to eat. The crunchiness of the barley and pomegranates were nice and I liked the vinegar in the frisée.Cheesey hash browns: there was nothing cheesey about them. I expected it to be gooey and have a strong vinegar taste. It was super dense and did not have cheese in it at all.Overall we had a great experience. We would come for happy hour, but nothing that wowed us.

I had a mixed experience with the food here last night. What I loved: CREEKSTONE FARMS BISTRO TENDER creamy semolina, fermented blueberry & leek, duck demi-glace WILD LINE CAUGHT WALU sunflower & mushroom risotto, roasted hen of the woods, sunflower milk, porcini dust CRISPY BROCCOLINI soy milk soubise, bourbon glazed cipollini, scallion pesto What I liked: RICOTTA & PARMESAN CHURRO ricotta, brown butter, parmigiano reggiano, braised peppercorns, fried sage ARTISANAL CHEESE BOARD artisanal selections, rotating accompaniments, toasted bread What I would skip next time: CRISPY CHICKPEAS buffalo spiced, blue cheese, micro celery SALAD OF SHAVED WINTER ROOTS barrel-aged fish sauce, yuzu, burnt peanut, shaved fresnos, toasted shrimp panko, mint I was actually expecting the winter roots to be roasted instead of raw. I would have enjoyed that salad so much more had the vegetables been roasted. The service was good last night. I felt like our meal was nicely paced. I think I would have enjoyed not being seated in one of those odd, rounded booths--they are awkward for 4 people to talk at dinner. I definitely think this place was worth trying, and I would focus on the menu items that I thought were delicious over the ones that weren't so great.

Dinner before a show at the Fox, stayed at the Element Hotel next door We arrived at their 5:00pm opening and sat the bar. Matt took great care of us. Home made chips, cheesy churro, pork belly sliders and the scallop dish. All very tasty and were delivered hot from the kitchen. Wright and Co serves amazing food, not a "meat and potatoes " place , but a very foodie shared plate restaurant

Small portions. Some of the menu did make any sense. Not satisfied. Fried chick peas as an appetizer was lackluster and confusing. Potbelly was uncomfortably really small for $28. The lard gravy (brown jello) was unappealing and was difficult to eat with a spoon. I was fighting to get any in my mouth. Lastly, the parsnips purée, and turnip chunks chunks did not balance well with the textures. In addition, addition with the how many corn were both fried and and and raw were both combine to pair with the root dish. It was confusing in texture, taste and flavor. Overall, 2 out of 5 stars. Would not recommend nor return unless with free gifts cards but only drinks will be order.

Very poor work skills, not completely a business company. Need improvement and understanding how to finish. Need alot more experience.

Very cool atmosphere! The drinks were solid. Some of the food was very good (2 of all of our dishes) and someone was very bad. In particular, the lobster crab toast was so fishy that it was inedible. The Server seemed to be aware. She came to our table as soon as we tried it (only for that dish) to ask how it was and offered to replace it with something else. One of the people in our party was sick FF all night, so I sincerely wonder if the fish had gone bad. With the taste of that fish on our palates, it was hard to enjoy the other dishes. It was that bad. They also bring the dishes out at different times, which is fine, but there were times when people had nothing to eat. Our server was overbearing, and I personally felt that it was difficult to say no to her. We might return for a drink, but none of us would eat at Wright & Company again.Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions would be impossible. The food is as it is. We made one tweak, but the chef sent oh exactly it described on menu. Totally ignored request.

This restaurant is truly a gem! I'm always a little skeptical when trying trendy restaurants in Detroit, as the food doesn't always live up to the expectation. I was truly impressed with my experience here! The restaurant has an elegant ambiance with beautiful art and a few industrial elements that are so fitting for Detroit! Service also exceeded expectations. The style of this restaurant is small plates, and it's appropriate to order 2-3 plates per person. Their menu is on the pricier side and the plates are not very traditional. This is definitely not for everyone, but I truly appreciated how creative and unique each dish was. We started with the winter root salad and cheesy hash brown starters. The salad had a mix of carrots, radish, and a few herbs I could pick out. Nothing too crazy but it was very light and a nice way to start the meal. The hash brown was so delicious! It had a beautiful fluffy texture with a perfect crispy layer and served with a creamy, tangy sauce. It reminded me of a unique take on a baked potato. We also went with the scallop, half chicken, and Malu white fish dishes for our mains. The scallop dish was served with a blend of apple and potato pieces, served with an herb and dijon spread. I never would have imagined these flavors to work well together but this was absolutely delicious! The half chicken was served over a sweet potato mash and bok choy. Again, awesome blend of flavors and this was my partner's favorite dish of the night! Lastly, we went with the Malu white fish. The fish itself was cooked to perfection. It was light, flaky, moist, and served with a tangy white sauce. The only thing that disappointed was the risotto the fish was served with. It was mixed with sunflower seeds which gave a nice texture but it left the risotto a little to grainy and I would have liked a more rich and creamy element to this. We ended the night with the butterscotch pudding. This was a little on the heavy side but so creamy and tasty! Definitely recommend splitting this with at least one or two other people. After looking at some of the other reviews, I notice some mixed feelings on the food. I personally loved my experience but would recommend having an open mind and more adventurous taste palate if you come check out this place! I definitely hope to be back!

This place was very good. We got some white wine to start which was really delicious. Then we got a few dishes to split. Everything was good, but the portion sizes were a bit small and the flavors mild. That said it was a solid meal, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really nice too. I'd love to come back for a cocktail since it seems like they have a great menu for that.
